My local is doing it as normal, queues and all from stupid o clock, just wash Hands and wear a mask on entry ....was hoping they would do a time slot event ..not good as West Midlands is having covid case increases week on week currently...so will probably go all out online only now hoping they would do a time slot event ..not good as West Midlands is having covid case increases week on week currently...
If those cases aren't leading to hospitalisations, let alone deaths - then I don't see what the issue is. Most likely only amongst certain communities anyway.

Watch out the secret Steve Hoffman police will delete your comment for Covid trolling.....
Yes - would you like me to be more specific for you? If you were in the UK, you would know exactly what I was referring to as it has been mentioned in the news in relation to towns that have had increased restrictions in recent weeks.
Let’s keep this thread on track and just discuss the records being released and plans/expectations/enjoyment of the day itself.

In related news, 100+ cases are now related to the Smash Mouth concert at Sturgis. Fans shared it among themselves and took it back to every corner of the country and the counts are just getting started.
Covid 19 is not be be taken lightly--especially if you are dealing with the sick, the elderly and the vulnerable. But can we dispense the idea--media driven because the media offers no context-that 100 young people testing positive means 100 people are going to die. This is simply not the case and has never been the case.
Hard data is hard to come by because there is politics and $$$$$ involved, but over 99% of people who become infected survive.
Further, how do we know this story is true? Exactly 100? How nice and neat.

Themisto (nope, never heard of him either) is praising Van Morrison’s stand against made-up facts in that thread:
What's so crazy about a songwriter lamenting the violation of fundamental human freedoms? Isn't that what much classic rock music is about in the first place?
It's a political song, no? How is discussing the content of a political song off-limits? The thought-police is at it again - fascism at its best.
Pardon, but you are mixing up facts here. This is no "conspiracy theory". C19 is largely comparable to the severity of seasonal flu, no more, no less. Look at the CDC numbers if you don't believe me.
Many authoritative voices in the world of science and medicine confirm that the media’s alarmism about Covid-19 appears to be absolutely unjustified. On the basis of official data on the incidence of the epidemic as related to the number of deaths, I suspect, there are powers interested in creating panic among the world’s population - for what reason I do not know. But it is terrifying. The virus is not.
Too unfortunate though, that it seems to have eluded you, that the large number of celebrities advocating for lockdowns, lockups and muzzles receive no bashing - either from you, or the public at large. Well done - keep on bashing Van Morrison.

This is clearly a man who does not want to believe science. On Toots and John Prine:
Oh, so they died of C19 then. How many other diseases did they have at the time of passing? Have you seen The Stranglers' keyboard player in the last few years of his life? This man was gravely ill already, so don't try to convince me, that he died of C19. Again, nearly ALL, that die of this virus, have - on average - 2.6 serious additional diseases (with the addition of, in the vast majority of cases, extreme advanced age).
And on a COVID tangent in a thread about vinyl sales:
