I was thinking this morning (or maybe imagining is more like it) that Paul should drop us a little gift to keep our minds off of coronavirus. I wish he would drop the soundcheck album on us through digital sources. It shouldn’t be that much work to finish it up, it would be a “minor” album (not his next big release), he’s not touring so he has the time and it would be a great distraction. Especially if FP and LIB are delayed. What do you guys think? How about instead an EP of family-friendly songs for all those trapped in their homes? 1. Tropic Island Hum 2. Mary Had A Little Lamb 3. Inchworm 4. We All Stand Together But for the fans, maybe make 1 the demo, 2 and 3 live recordings, 4 the remaster from Pure McCartney — and possibly add in that missing "Mary Had A Little Lamb" video in it too? He flew in (or most likely out) of JFK on 3/13. Assuming he’s safe and not infected, I would assume he might be sheltering in place somewhere in the country like Hogg Hill Mill. That might mean he writes some new music to stay occupied... He flew into JFK, so hopefully he’s isolating in his upstate place (and working on McCartney 3). Oh you know Paul is working on music if he's sheltering in place. That's what the man does! I don't think we'll see him rush release anything he records in quarantine, but that material could come out some day later. I think it's more likely he puts out an unreleased song from his archives or a new remix of something as a digital single in April or May as a little surprise for fans or even a charity single, but again who knows. Pretty quickly, Paul could have a whole batch of remixes done by various artists and producers (easy enough to send out stems and let the collaborators work remotely). It was reported this morning he’s in the Hamptons. I’d rather have him on his farm, but at least he’s not in the city.

Yeah, after a few weeks locked inside with only his boundless musical gifts to keep him company, McCartney's no doubt gonna come out with another inspired inspirational anthem to rock the whole world. "Talkin' 'bout Corona...talkin' about Corooooona..."

We need a Macca song to keep us sane. Now more than ever.
Just like Freedom did for all of us.

Paul briefly appeared in a video today supporting NHS nurses and health personnel! I was very happy to see him! TwitterHe's in his Sussex studio! Ooh please Paul may you record us a McCartney III! That's all we'd need at the moment and it would be an absolutely perfect timing: - 50th anniversary of McCartney - 40th anniversary of McCartney II - The concept being being a one-man band, recording on his own Oh man, I hope he's preparing that, or an Electric Arguments 2...which is basically the same I was thinking the same thing, what a perfect time for McCartney III. I thought we determined he was in the Hamptons? Knowing that he is well is most important. Knowing that he has access to a studio is most exciting. But the thing is: He's in his studio, he can write, record and produce, but what about enginerring, mixing, mastering? Can he handle all that? Especially nowadays, you know what I mean No offense to sir Paul of course He can certainly Dropox the files to someone who could. And then he'll send heavily saturated mp3 files by mistake "Sounds good Sam??"

Under the title “Can you believe this”. Amazon is selling McCartney face masks? ? Like 7 different styles. Simply having a wonderful social distancing time. Sweet! Someone’s making a couple bucks. I think that Wings logo mask is calling my name. Wonder if these are approved by MPL. It would be ghoulish if they were. Absolutely not an official product. And if they were, and 100% of proceeds didn't go to charity, I would be disgusted. Although they are listed as “dust” masks, I am not too sure they are any good for our current problem They'd need to be My Brave Face Masks. I expect these won't be on Amazon long. So... they stopped restocking CDs & DVDs for.... these..?:realmad::rolleyes::wantsome::tsk::ignore: Hope Paul is well, we haven't heard or seen anything from him since corona hit. He joined in with the clapping thing the other day. But yeah hopefully he’s well. Maybe he’s been busy recording music to help lift people’s spirits. Paul McCartney, Elton John, Lady Gaga, Stevie Wonder, and more will participate in a COVID-19 charity special organized by Global Citizen and the World Health Organization: One World: Together at Home, set to air on TV and livestream online April 18th at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. They better all be remoting in from their homes. If the elder statesmen like Paul or Elton happen to get this from someone . . . There has never, ever been a better time for No More Lonely Nights getting it's live premier. Also a good time for the High in the Clouds song that Lady Gaga performed with Paul to make it's debut. Depends on the title/main chorus lyric of the song.

He gave a nice little performance and they tear him to shreds.
Do SHiTES even like Macca?

They wouldn't be happy unless he played "Carnival of Light."

He gave a nice little performance and they tear him to shreds. Do SHiTES even like Macca? Exactly. He participated in the event – alone at home (duh!) – and gave props to the healthcare workers on the front lines of the pandemic. Fuck the goddamn SHites.

Well, after reading the reviews, I was compelled to take a looksee for myself.
Let's just say he was no Rolling Stones...how bout that kid Mick? That was pretty good; they ought to do all their shows from separate mansions.
For all the piss I take out of him, McCartney is a pretty good egg. A decent chap as far as superstars go. But the SHites might be on to something here; that performance was a little, uh...awful...
My objection is how the SHites make it all about Macca and ignore the spirit in which the event was held.
Heheh, I wonder if they still want him near a recording studio now?

I'm not here to judge the performance one way or the other because I've never been a fan, and its been clear he hasn't been able to sing for ages, but how the damn SHiTEs can't get why he sang a song about where the rent might come from while you are lying in bed goes to show they are the dumbest dummies on the interwebs.

I think that "Another Day" would be nice if the vocals were entirely absent. I hadn't heard the song in years and recently realized it is actually a fairly exquisite arrangement and very well played. If only it had just been left as an instrumental. Imagine if the Beatles were an instrumental group, like Sky, Vangelis or Violinski? Most of the SHITes would have probably turned to crime by now.
