SHites do not agree with today’s pop/hip-hop artists (because they’re different) having an opinion on legacy acts. In particular, that new kid on the scene Snoop Dogg is “silly” to think he understands Johnny Cash. I’m sure they’re equally unimpressed with Big Boi being a Kate Bush fanboy, although presumably Duff McKagan writing inner sleeve notes on Prince will be fine. From a Laurel Canyon doc thread, where all SHites would head if time travel were a thing.

Disturbing is what’s going on in America right now.

"Contemporary pop/hip-hop artists, or in some cases movie stars" has to be the longest, most convoluted euphemism for "black people" ever poated at Hoofy's.

They long to be able to just say 'thugs'.

Haven't they learned anything in their time at Hoofyville? It's L.A.! Everyone knows everyone! Even the most popular musicians and actors of the day rubbed elbows with mastering engineers!

Inherent racism aside, what do those people know about "contemporary artists?" Exactly they’re referencing Beck, Fiona Apple & Snoop Dogg, the tik tokkers of modern times.

Inherent racism aside, what do those people know about "contemporary artists?" They're catalog on Fleet Foxes.
