Neil Young Archives 2 is planned and some SHites found a misprinted listing that had it for $3. So without knowing what it is, people are actually spending almost $100 for 30 copies of it. Pointless stupidity. $3 for Neil Young is too much.

I wouldn't pay 15 bucks for a Neil Young album. But for 3 dollars, I'd gladly buy 7 copies.

They must dread seeing that bum coming in to haggle over those junk CDs. He probably puts them in the shopping cart he hauls around with the rest of his possessions and shuffles back to the overpass he lives under.

Also super annoying are all the damn discount threads where people brag about finding a bargain basement deal at Amazon or DeepDiscount, getting a double album for $5. They brag about the deal they got on the album they never wanted, then spend the rest of the time complaining about shipping delays, packaging, bent corners, and bad customer service. You get what you pay for...

You get what you pay for... I can’t find it now but someone reported that some jazz album they bought on DeepDiscount from the bargain bin had a signed card from someone involved with the album - maybe it was Quincy Jones? Anyway, several people then went and bought and didn’t get a card and felt cheated out of their $6 and postage.

That 32 inch TV will be paid off in 4 years. His left side speaker will be paid off in 10 years, and the right side one 23 years. And that's just his downstairs set up.

Francophile50 could write a book: “Hoarding, Being A Cheap Dick and the Art of Bargain CD Collecting Maintenance: My Life Story”

vinylbeat said: ↑ Amazon must be sitting on a boatload of these sets. To think I own two sets. One opened for playing and the other still sealed. I think one copy of any Beatles release will be my quota in the future!
mne563 said: I did the same thing; bought an extra because I like this set so much. I still wish I would have bought an extra mono LP box set and I didn't want to miss out again. :sigh:
Now it looks like even if I sold my extra singles box, I'd take a loss!
I'm starting to think that I may not get rich by collecting records...

cdnostslgia asks: "Having just bought two albums that I consider to the worst output by Arctic Monkeys (Suck It and See and TBH&C) in order to complete my discography of theirs - already owning their other 4 albums, I wondered if perhaps whether other people go out of their way to buy ****e albums by bands for the sake of completeness?
As I write this I'm looking up prices for Warning by Green Day as I need it to complete that set. Again an awful album but my CDs seem wrong with out it?
Do others have this desire for completeness even if they might only play the CDs three or four times a decade?"
