SHITe on: David Foster produced one of my favorite albums ever. Not gonna say who it's by or the name of the album (I'm in no mood to get roasted today), but on the other hand, I had no idea he was Canadian! SHiTE on: Hey, David Foster played on one of my favourite albums (couple of 'em actually- Extra Texture and 33 1/3 by George Harrison)... SHiTE off. I don't give a fuck how much of an asshole Foster is, plenty of bigger assholes in the music industry than David Foster, I'm sure. I reckon part of the reason Foster gets shit on is because he doesn't pretend to be anything other than the asshole he is, which, considering how many fuckin' fake, plastic people there are in the music biz, his attitude is kinda refreshing! He's a glory hog, sure, among other things, but to the best of my knowledge he's never raped any underage kids, or killed anybody with an overdose or drink driving etc (though I suppose the Ben Vereen incident comes close), unlike some of his industry peers who seemed to pretty much get a pass for that kinda behaviour. |

Shit, Dave, the only fuckin' music I listen to these days is Prog and jazz- not one fuckin' album with David Foster's name attached to it. |

The reason I mention Sammy so much is because the poater I named myself after (Zoot Marimba) is obsessed with Sammy. There could be a 500 page thread about Gershwin, with a mention of Hagar on the 239th page, and he would search it out and quote it just to trash him. He does it with lots of other bands, but his Sammy hate is quite disturbing. So the SAMMY HAGAR poats are just a way to keep it going over here. SHITe on: I'm not a huge fan of the Capitol albums. Some okay stuff, but not my favorite /SHITe |
