No doubt MYKE Jr. has been instructed to get max value from the Molly Hatchet and Black Oak Arkansas audiophile vinyls his dad leaves him. He’ll end up envying the woman who is gettting a pound per.

I'm convinced that record hoarding is a kind of death denial.

I've got a lot of records that would fetch a good price, but for all I care they can all go in a landfill when I die.

Normal person: “I want my family and children taken care of when I die, maybe provide something special for my grandchildren that will give them one final memory of me.”
Myke: “I paid $275 for a record that made my kid cry.”

It's kind of rude to expect your family to become grieving record dealers after you die, but then again it's very on-brand for the typical SHite/SHoarder.

If this guy knew he had records worth £2k (and if he had a collection of 50,000 then he was top tier SHite and would have known his Bellmans from his Hoffmans) he really should have left a note telling his wife “flog these dozen records and you’ll make £10k to go on a lovely holiday and escape the horders nighmare I’ve subjected you to. Take cardboard Ringo with you too for company”.

Also, even in the face of COVID-19, how many SHites do you reckon are now hastily buying tickets to go on a trip and visit the grieving/elated widow?

If he has 50,000 records
and she is selling them at £1 each
that is £50,000.
Which isn't a bad deal, but if she took the time she could easily make £100,000.

"Dead Victim Husband" by Bitch Widow was the best stoner/doom album of 2014.

Noticed a moment of faux-outrage when some dipshits in that thread thought it was the record collection of the actual John Peel (not just a random bloke with the same name) until it was pointed out he died over 15 years ago. They’re so stupid.

I have a few select valuable albums, but if I should go, I've told the GF to just let my brother have them. Keep what you like, sell the lot for $20. I won't be playing them...
