I thought ole James had let himself go long ago, before he even had that silly "musician" arc that seems to be quite dormant now. As it turned out, I guess we actually caught the twilight years of "sexy, cute, productive, young" James (who was pushing 40 at the time), and now he's letting himself go... If he had white hair instead of being a ginger, he would look about as good as his dad will look in five years. Imagine if the heroin has taken hold of Daddy, and McCartney Sr.'s career fizzled out in the mid-70's after a debilitating descent into junkiedom. That's kind of what we seem to have here, if you get my drugs...I mean, drift. He used to be such a handsome, elegant devil, too...  |
