What, are Beatles fans are finally coming around to the fact that John Lennon was an asshole? Lennon didn't want to be a soldier, no, he just gave money to the IRA.

Anecdote that really happened
When the great Doug Sax was alive, I was at his studio, comparing two feeds of a classical cello in a big space. A high rez digital recording and a lowly TEAC 15 ips reel to reel recording.
Then Doug Sax arrived and said on his phone "Security, there's a homeless guy in the studio. Same guy as last week. Yeah, the guy with the torn-up t-shirt that reveals his neck vag."

Before Nevermind I was a big Nirvana fan, Bleach on more or less continuously, and there were already Nirvan cover bands in my college community before Nevermind was released. Nevermind was a HUGE disappointment upon release and actually signaled the END of the grunge era.

I knew a couple of people who were hip to the Niravananana's* who did think that at time.
Well, after Nevermind blew up anyway, and the normies got into them.
*as no one called them.

I guess all of the Nirvana cover bands did Bleach start to finish, then called it a night.

I remember when Kurt Cobain came out on Oprah. The phone rang at about 4:20 pm. My mom heard me scream NOOOOOOOO and dropped the phone. I didn't finish my chicken tendies. Mommy held me as I cried through the night. I wanted to wrap my arms around Courtney so bad that night and hold her. I think she knew that too.

Tribute bands for acts who sold 40,000 records worldwide. Sure, bud.
