In just three short years, he will have been dead longer than he was alive. Just a blip on the cosmic radar. Im sure John would contribute to Ringo's albums One more reason to stay dead.

Time does fly. It's Dead Guy's Birthday again. Please join us in celebrating and remembering how Dead Guy was mowed down in a hail of bullets to die a slow, excrutiatingly painful, horrible death. Thank you.

Happy birthday, dead guy!

Happy Death Day Dead Guy! Gee, has it already been 40 years since you tied clothesline around your neck, climbed on a chair and jumped, shitting your drawers? My, how time does fly. Anyway, wishing you another happy 40!

I'm still waiting for a confirmation from Reuters. Didn't he sing for Wall of Voodoo?

It’s still weird that John Lennon outlived Ian Curtis. Can’t say I’m a huge Joy Division fan (and with some exceptions think New Order are fucking dreadful), but at least we never got to endure his equivalent of Beautiful Boy.

Has STeVe weighed in to tell a story about the time he was in Manchester and played The Captain and Tennille for Ian Curtis?
