Some debate over whether Steven Malkmus is "still" punk. This is exactly what Pavement sounds like to me, uncanny. Although the lyrics here are communicating a coherent thought instead of being about a "carrot rope" or whatever, no wonder he turned into a jam band guy. Why I love Bernard Butler (from a few years ago)... I didn’t re record the ‘backing tracks’ because they sound bloody brilliant. I did however use "different instrumental takes (to sing over) and some of these you will notice have different detail. I like the fact that this will keep the trainspotters up at night arguing. My dream is an entry on the Steve Hoffmann Forum" I checked out the first Suede album thanks to this, really good, thanks.

I walked out of a Pavement gig once. Well, actually I had a train to catch, but I did leave a lot earlier that I had to. I went to see the support group, Pram, possibly? But Pavements insipid good taste and probably tutored "chops" didn't do much for me. ANd I thought that song sounded like something of a solo Syd Barrett album. I like Syd Barrett's solo albums.

Well, it's good when Syd Barrett does it.

I thought Pavement was cool until I heard the Fall and realized everything I liked was stolen. All their inside baseball '90s alt-rock references haven't exactly aged well either.

I remember my coworker being excited when Slanted and Enchanted came into the record shop. I thought every song sounded like Dirty Boulevard

That avatar depicts the bastard love child of Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen who was concieved after a night of steamy, passionate sex on highway 99

forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/post-rock-groups.648257/page-6Spiderland came out in March 1991. To put that into terms SHiTes can understand, the amount of time between today and the release of Spiderland is about the same amount of time between Buddy Holly and the Crickets first appearance on Ed Sullivan and the release of Spiderland.

That random capitalization is brutal. Trump does it too. It shouts "I am a moron."
