To me, they were just a flash 'novelty' POP band, like the Monkeys . They had a couple good songs on the radio early on. Walked into a casino in Lake Tahoe once in 1978 or 1979 and walked up to the bar to get a Heineken and 'they, the band' were playing behind the bar in their 'full on' Raiders outfits with flamboyant hats. I recognized the blond headed main guy but didn't recognize any of the others. Could have been one other original band member, I have no idea. Had my beer and left. Glad I saw the quasi band, even if not totally original, whoever the musicians were, play a couple songs. A good memory. The Heineken taste great!! :righton: Seen Roger McGuire of 'The Birds' with his new band in a park once playing the same way, quite by accident, just passing by, It was cool too. Heard 3 songs. Remembered two. Cool!! Seen Roger Mcguire - I believe that's his name. The rectangle glasses guy.

Confusing Ringo Starr with Marvin Gaye is a new low for Hoofyville.

I was not aware of the album "What's Going On" It's been a while since I heard it, and to be honest, I don't know if I could name any of the songs, other than the title track, lolz, but not being aware of the album that's, I don't know what to say. Other than 'Forum of Music Lovers'

Bunch of dorks fucking up the Sabbath Top 40 thread. With diehard Ozzy-era fans who’ve admitted to never having heard a single song outside of those albums contributing lists as well as shit taste Curveboy saying that every single Tony Martin sung song is better than classics like Sabbra Cadabra.

I had to look to see how many said Helter Skelter. I thought there would be more in the 22 pages.

I guess several of the usual suspect/ broken dildos posting in the ‘ Your One Favorite Album From Every Decade Of Your Life...’ are writing from the afterlife, as several of them stop at the 70s. M****l only posted one, in the 60s

ChefBrunch thinks Iron Maiden is a thrash band. He's getting absolutely roasted by everyone not named Rose River Bear in the "What Is The Key to Iron Maiden's Success?" thread but of course doubles and triples down on his idiocy.

Jimmy Agates
Instant Dharma wins the thread.
