Think of what the Beatles could have achieved if they had a better bass, and a better bass player! Imagine the achievement they could have reached with STeVe on bass. I'm sure it's not the case and there's some logical explanation for it, but when I've listened to STeVE's MBBB CD I've always pictured Daddy futzing with a bass guitar, bored/stoned out of his gourd while doing whatever he was doing while My Generation was rolling. I mean it seems odd that those random ass bass notes bleeding through have only shown up on that one Forum-Approved Mastering. |
