Call it what you will. But with all the shit-flinging damage already done, my expectations have focused back on the basics. Such as the return of some good old American values such as common fucking decency and dignity. We still remember those, don't we? And while voating for an independent as a personal protest against evil may make everyone feel classy, noble, warm and fuzzy, it isn't going to change a fucking thing either.

And while voating for an independent as a personal protest against evil may make everyone feel classy, noble, warm and fuzzy, it isn't going to change a fucking thing either. So riddle me this: if you really want those values that you espouse, why are so many voting against their interests? Virtually every poll shows Sanders has a far better chance of beating Trump than Biden does. And there ain't nothing classy, noble, warm and fuzzy about bombing third world countries the way that Obama did or caging kids the way Obama did (no Trump wasn't the first) or all the many other progressive ideals he ran on but lied about in the end. But hell, if a prettier face and a nicer guy makes you sleep better at night-even though he's doing the same reprehensible shit to fellow human beings-well have at it.

And by not voting for the Democrat, you are helping to ensure that Trump and the Nazi Party remains firmly in place. This is no time for stubborn, misplaced idealism. Go that route and it is Nader and 2000 all over again. You may not like it; I may not like it, but this is the situation we have. First thing I thought of. But seriously, Biden will appoint better judges at every level. That's some important stuff, there. There is a real difference between the parties and while I'd love to write in Sanders or hold my nose and vote for the dope the Greens put up, I can't do that to my kids. Sure, they're old now but they'll have to be here at least 30 years after me, I'd guess. I'd hate to have them see what all out Fascism looks like.

If Trump is reelected and replaces RGB or anyone else, we're fucked until after I'm probably worm food. Say hello to back alley abortions and religion integrated into curriculum or other such bullshit.

We must place our trust in the Dem who gave us Clarence Thomas.

We must place our trust in the Dem who gave us Clarence Thomas. If Biden, who voted against Clarence Thomas, "gave us Clarence Thomas" because he was chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee at the time, do you also credit him with defeating Robert Bork and "giving us" Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer from that same position?

The way he ran the Thomad hearing was disgraceful. My only point.

The way he ran the Thomad hearing was disgraceful. My only point. Therefore we would be better off with four more years of the guy who actually gave us Gorsuch and Kavanaugh.

I like him and think if elected he would carry on as long as physically possible but man, he looks awful. We're just kinda fucked I guess.

I agree with most of Bernie’s ideas but unless Dems somehow get a majority in the Senate and keep the House, none of it is ever going to get done. His stans are assholes too.
I can’t believe the best the Dems can do is two ancient white dudes who may not even live to see the end of a first term. I was all set to vote for Liz but that’s not happening. I don’t even give a shit who gets the nomination, I absolutely cannot tolerate four more years of Cheetolini.
As others have said, the courts are the most important thing here. Biden is absolutely not going to put a conservative on the Supreme Court. If Captain Adderall gets another term, we’re completely fucked.

I'd go all in with Tulsi Gabbard right now. Big butthole sniffability too.

What chance has Warren to be named as VP for either of them? I think there’s at least some awareness of the old white man syndrome from both of them (Bernie, mostly) so I think they’ll name a woman as running mate, and Warren seems to have enough appeal that either of them could benefit. Plus. it’s not as absurd as McCain’s pick of Palin, and far more sensible than Tim Kaine was.
