Let's not throw out the baby with the bathwater. Yes, Bolton had his chance to make a difference, he didn't take it. Mary Trump is itemizing Trump's sleazebaggy past (sic). Which does not surprise anyone. Is she going to make some cash with the book? I'd think so. But I seriously doubt Mary Trump has/had any inside scoop to tell the House on how the Donald was/is conducting his daily shady diplomatic affairs in the White House. If poll numbers are to be believed (and I seriously don't know if they are, if I've learned anything it's that I know fuck all about any of this) then he might be on his way out soon. In which case she's just kicking him when he's down. A nice expose back when he was running the first time would have been appreciated. Would it have made a difference? Who knows. But it would have meant something more. At this point, I don't care how awful Trump's past was. All of that pales in comparison to what he's done over the past 3.5 years.
EDIT:
Everyone has an agenda, which is fine. But right now, what she's doing is just not timely. Besmirching Donald's reputation? He does that everyday. All the sordid details will be fun to pore over one day but at the moment we should be focusing on more important things, because there is a pressing matter at hand. Who gives a shit that he cheated on his SATs? The man has kids in cages, done major damage to the progress of the LGBTQ+ community, botched the pandemic response, etc etc (imagine being such a piece of shit that some of your major atrocities get relegated to "etc.")
I haven't read her book, but it seems at least from the media coverage that it does a lot of pathologizing. And as fun as that is, it's all armchair psychology. She may have personal anecdotes that color her perception in way that we wouldn't otherwise have access, but that doesn't mean she conducted a proper evaluation. From what I know, that's typically looked down upon by professionals.

Yeah, but were any publishing outfits offering her money to write a book about her uncle when he was just a racist, “never-gonna-beat-Hillary” candidate? I’m sure the timing of the book being released now is to tie it in with the upcoming election, but until Trump won in 2016, I think Trump’s older sister’s assessment of him (🤡) is what everyone believed.

This is absolutely the right time for her book. Four years ago there would have been no perceived value, because no one dreamed the fucker would ever win. Now, less than four months from the election, she can inflict maximum damage. If it had been released earlier in his reign of terror, it would have been long forgotten by now.

The thing is, all this time, we know what and who Trump is. It's not like anything is shocking at this point. They wear these kinds of behaviors as a badge of honor. It's sort of like something I heard a co-worker say (pardon me if I don't fully remember what she said) but it was something like "They all love Trump because he supposedly 'tells it like it is', but they don't like it when we 'tell it like it is' about Trump".

Well, I don't know about you, but I feel much better now that the man in command of the nuclear launch codes has "aced" his cognitive test. Good job, Mr. President.

Not sure if you guys are aware, but the people behind the Lincoln Project are a bunch of insanely racist, anti-lgbtq, warmongering neocon ghouls.
Please stop giving them clicks.

I’m sure some (if not most) of them are. They are also masters of getting under IQ45’s skin. If they are any help at flushing the orange turd away, then I’ll continue to watch and laugh at their videos. (Ain’t gonna help fund them or anything.)
