When I seen Crimson this past November it was amazing. There was like a secret language between them. Every song was a creation that you got to witness. Each Musician playing their own part, but building on the others and knowing what to do when, and never being flamboyant about what they added to the whole of it. I wish I could articulate it better. It was somehow like free form jazz but not. OK this is where my crazy comes through, it reminded me of the opening pages of the Silmarillion by Tolkien. I was amazed to say the least. Lol peace

I bet "Crimson" or even maybe "Kingy" are really pleased to have such an articulate and well educated fan base.
I'm not sure what's worse Tolkien or music that sounds like fucking Tolkien.
No fucking LOL or peace here you cunt.

I am grateful for King Crimson - they cured my insomnia.

Man, I wish I could explain it. It's like they already knew how the song went. Like, each guy was playing his own instrument, and not flamboyantly. It was like free form jazz except not anything remotely like it except that it sounded a bit different from other music, kinda like Tolkien but like not like Led Zeppelin but like something else.
Not to get shitey but I saw them in 2014, despite knowing at most 4 songs. I had a very good time. Don't feel the need to go again or start buying their albums, but it was brilliantly executed show. Glad I seen it.

But like, yeah, but, no, but, yeah?
Meanwhile, Jarleboy’s probably thinking, “was Toyah there??”

Toyah turned up doing some of her "acting" in an early 1980s repeat of "Minder" recently. You could practically see her eyes running over the idiot board with her lines on it.

Fuck Robert Fripp. Dude's been shitting on his fans for decades and they still keep coming back for more. "Red" is probably the only King Crimson album I can stand.

I honestly never understood why there is such a thing as a Robert Fripp fan. I mean, why? The guy is a nasty putz with a huge chip on his shoulder; he is not 1/10th as smart as he likes to believe he is; not to mention the fact that he gleefully revels in his utter contempt for his own audience. His guitar playing is sterile, over-rehearsed fingerboard exercises without an ounce of feeling or any actual content, but, hey, other than all that he is somehow supposed to be great. I don't hear the greatness either. Stick a fuckin' Martin D-28 in Fripp's hands and see how well he fares without all of his effects to hide behind.
