He's gotta make sure he gets the names of the places lived in so you remember he's better than you and lives in better areas than you.
When we moved to Woodland Hills, me mum got the milk at the store like the rest of you peons.

Don't take off your jacket STeVe. You're not staying.

What? Really!? The COVID-19 lockdown started more than three years ago? I guess I missed that.

STeVe remembers 1966/1967. So depending on his age he is anywhere from 15 to 43 at the time ...

He actually can remember it well:
"The only reason I remember so well is that I was in summer camp and the song came on the radio. We listened amazed, knew it was LOVE (because we knew "My Little Red Book") and thought it was a neat song. Even on the worst little radio it didn't sound as bad as the above YouTube clip though." Janie Hendrix: We need a real pro to re-remaster the first album.
Eddie Kramer: yeah, somebody damn good. The best in the business.
Janie Hendrix: I've heard of this guy named Steve Hoffman. He was fired by MCA in the 80s for stealing tapes.
Eddie Kramer: Yes! Let's try him.

Considering "in 1995 or so" the Hendrix catalogue was in the process of moving from Reprise to MCA, STeVe's story is complete bullshit.

It's not just the MCA connection that makes Hoofman's story a sheer impossibility (MCA had exclusive license to Hendrix catalogue from the early 90's til 2010 or so), there is simply no way that Experience Hendrix or Alan Douglas before them would let a no-name hack like STEVE dick around with a priceless mastertape for a day, or even a minute. Besides, as usual, Hoffman's story always changes.... Sigh, did you know DCC was damn close to doing this album? I mean, I started work on it and everything. I did "Foxy Lady" before the plug was pulled. Same shit as always. "I started working on this before the deal was sealed". Right, of course you did STEVE-O. He then evades the question on whether this was before or after EH took over.

Nothing will top the time Hoofy claimed George Harrison was the lone holdout on STeVE remasterbating The Beatles.
