This is going to be good, some rich pickings to be had. Rick Barlett asks: “I watch a lot of documentaries and love hearing and seeing diary entries of folks from the 17 to the early 1900's or so of 'the day' and life experiences. Is this the new medium of diary writing, and is what we comment here on music, movies, and 'off topic' things become the new history of diaries? publicly? How long is this site going to go on, is there a time frame? It baffles me in 2017. Will people look on our opinions and expressions 100 years from today? What do you guys think?” forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/will-the-steve-hoffman-board-be-still-around-in-100-years.726950/

Sure he'll go down in history- as one of the biggest thieves, con men and snake oil salemen in the music industry.

He fucking wishes anyone will care about their dumb opinions on the Beatles and cable wires 100 years from now. Then, it all wouldn't feel so pointless, would it? Frankly, they baffle me already in 2018 (not 2017; Rick may be into reading about daily lives of the 18th century, but he's not so good at the here-and-now.)
