A Father Time song is created in the moment, plucking inspiration from the myriad vapours and lifeforms that make up the universe around him. Editing, as with musical aptitude and any semblance of original melody, would spoil it. I hope he adds that to his "spontaneous and unsolicited" quotes.

FWIW, I think any artist who could stand to listen to his/her fans discuss their music for more than two minutes would have to be an asshole anyway.
Now imagine a trumped up cutting engineer who could stand to listen to his/her sycophants endlessly discuss their fucking *mastering* of Bread.
