I’m either too young or too hip. Between Eddie Cantor and this fucking guy, I’m out of it.

Eddie Cantor was Tiffany to Al Jolson’s Debbie Gibson.

It’s nice to see that Alfred E. Neuman finally got some dental work done.

Trini Lopez was interviewed for a BBC Radio documentary about Reprise records a few years ago. What a fucking ego. He said he was the financial salvation of Reprise, which haemmorhaged money from day one right up until Sinatra sold the label to Warner Brothers.
Oddly, for such an important superstar on the world stage, they only played his one hit.

I meant to write I wouldn't mind having one, if I didn't have to listen to any Trini Lopez records. I got my fill of him watching The Dirty Dozen.

Funerals for Ringo and Macca. They will be sad days indeed.... Until they release a box set of the complete funeral coverage. Unless the box set of the complete funeral coverage has compressed mastering. That will be sad days indeed. Or if the box set of the complete funeral coverage has OK mastering but arrives with bent corners. Then it will be even sadder days. It's the live broadcast collectors will clamour for. Lord Macca has already recorded plenty of additional material to be flown into the edit the moment his coffin hits the flames.

Does anyone know who the planned mastering engineer is for this? I don't want it if it's brickwalled.
