I admit I feel vaguely dirty for even poating in that discussion... I've had a good wash since engaging. Guarantee that this thread (the Kim Kardashian does her nails equiv. for the forum), will be twice as long as every one on non-white soul singers put together, by the end of the weekend! No popcorn or hiding under stools memes yet though.

It's also a pretty easy question. The "yeahs" are present in stereo but not mono. Given that no instruments are missing at the end of the stereo mix, it is fair to assume that the "yeahs" are from the main vocal track. George sings the song unassisted. ∴ it was clearly Paul.

Sounds like Bernard Purdie to me.

I love the fact that a forum full of experts that can hear night and day differences in audio cables or power supplies, can't pick out the separate voices of their favorite band.

I'm pretty sure most of them can, they just pretend not to as it gives them yet another opportunity to talk about and/or argue over their favourite band... Christ, if you listen to a Beatles album once and still can't distinguish their voices, you need to book an appointment with yer local hearing specialist pronto.

They are the same audiophiles who boast that Macca never uses autotune, unlike talentless "rappers" and pop singers. I myself (and some others) had to point out the songs in which the autotune was obvious, to nobody's delight but my own. I still don't think they believed us, even when we pointed out the clearly robotic voices on Good Evening New York City. Brainwashed in particular stuck his fingers in his ears and said "lalalala-I-can't-hear-you-lalala-I-am-a-producer-and-Engineer-and-it's-not-there-lalala"

If he didn't like his vocals, why not just redo them in the studio? Even if auto-tune was still required, it would sound far better than that hackjob.

It's painfully obvious that autotune is all over Good Evening New York City.

I once heard a live version of "Lady Madonna" where he sounds like a Dalek. The autotune was modulating with the not-autotuned leakage on the other mics.
