In the first installment of Misadventures in Mastering we have a closer look at The Bernie Gruntman Mastering Studios Let's see who and what goes on here We'll click the tab Hits Who is this Joe Doe Fellow? He sure has a lot of hit records. Ok let's now look at the mastering engineers 1. Bernie Gruntman Here he is next to all those lovely gold discs and a clock made from CDs. Next up Chris Bellend Look at those master tapes on a stick behind the phone - STeVe would like them Patricia Sullivan seems fairly normal so moving quickly on to The Bozzi Brothers - Joe & Mike No info about Joe but we do have a photo Don't mess with Joe he's tough but is the Goatee Beard the new mullet? Mike appears the more sensible of the two brothers No info on Paul Gruntman but looks like they used his prison photograph. Finally Scott Peccadillo "Scott's interest in sound started with a funny but telling story when he was just 5 years old. Even then the experiments started when his coveted"Chipmunk Christmas" album was being played on his Select-O-Matic record player, he place a penny on the tone arm to improve the playback quality. From that point on, he was hooked on music, and audio equipment."And before we say goodbye to Gruntman's we have a picture of mastering engineers having fun in front of the special CD Clock
