I don't know if PaulWTF is so far gone into his candyland that he doesn't recognize the irony of being creeped out by alleged pervy producer Dan Schneider, but here we are: forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/nickelodeon-splits-with-producer-dan-schneider.741244/"Nickelodeon has parted ways with the (in my opinion) creepy Dan Schneider Nickelodeon Splits With Producer Dan Schneider If you already know about his history of creepy, inappropriate Tweets, then you probably know the likely reason Nickelodeon decided to part ways with him. And if you don't know who he is or his history, then consider yourself lucky." This also applies to people who don't know about PaulKTF or his history.

The Dan Schneider rabbit hole is a fun if not twisted one to go down. There were moments even as a 16 year old where some things happening in the shows made me feel uncomfortable. Now as an adult, I know that a) it's not too difficult to identify and avoid unintentionally pervy moments, and b) that the stuff that was being shown was for sure intentional. It's one thing when actual people say/do the kind of stuff on the show. It's another when you realize it's a bunch of adults getting kids to do these things and likely getting their rocks off in the process. Add in the behind-the-scenes stuff and you basically get a big old open secret kind of deal.

Are we 100% certain Dan Schneider isn't PaulKTF?

Does PaulKFC have a foot fetish? Yes, but only when the feet belong to a seven year old.

I've thought about this (deleted) Godfather scene a lot lately.

I've thought about this (deleted) Godfather scene a lot lately. You do have to kinda wonder how things might have turned out if somebody had left a horse's head in Harvey Weinstein's bed about thirty years ago...

I've thought about this (deleted) Godfather scene a lot lately. You do have to kinda wonder how things might have turned out if somebody had left a horse's head in Harvey Weinstein's bed about thirty years ago... Different times. The Weinsteins of the world are (were?) the ones in charge. There's no more mafia pulling the strings in the film/entertainment industry, not for a long time. It's a whole racket unto itself. And to bring things back a bit, that seems to be an issue behind the scenes at Nickelodeon. There's no public accusations against Dan Schneider, but plenty of rumors abounded against other, smaller players, which seem to have been somewhat sanitized, and which I won't repeat here because they are unsubstantiated, but at they are at least theoretically plausible, that is, that a registered offender could still work with the network. Case in point: Brian Peck. On a lighter note, I fell down a different rabbit hole: deleted Godfather scenes. I've seen 'em all before, on DVD, but with little context. Many of them were reinserted into the various Godfather Saga/Epic/Trilogy re-edits, which I've never seen, but at least reading exactly where they would go makes a big difference. I think a lot of them were best left out, even if they are interesting to see. There are a few though that are pretty powerful though. Nothing that was cut from Pt II featuring DeNiro feels at all essential, but then the re-edits are done chronologically, and perhaps the film needs them since there isn't the juxtaposition with Michael in the fifties.

There's a ton of De Niro deleted footage from Pt II. Basically, Coppola cut the end of his story, after he takes over in the neighborhood. Nothing has surfaced so far, not even in the TV cut or the deleted scenes on the boxset. You can just get a glimpse of De Niro in middle-aged make up on the cover of The Godfather Companion or some other book about the films.

Even some of the available deleted scenes slip into english.
