Leo Sayer. He has an album by Leo Sayer. In fact, if I'd kept reading, I'd have probably found he has the entire recorded works of Leo Sayer.

How does that even make sense? I looked that song up and it came out in '81..so how is that funny? I mean even shitty jokes should make some kind of sense. Why would Dylan be listening to Ringo's stupid record in 1981? Goddamn it!

I have no idea what I just read. Was there a joke in there? What you came across was a genuine, bonafide, SH.tv-approved, Beatard Lack-of-Witticism tm. These lame attempts at "humor" are easily identifiable by looking for these tell-tale traits: – it will contain a (likely obscure) reference to some aspect of Beatles' (or solo) history – it will contain a winking emoji [how else would they know it's supposed to be funny?] – it will by written by a SHite Beatard – it will be liked by a plethora of SHite Beatards The SHite Beatards find the "joke" funny because they recognize the reference being made, while it confirms their unhealthy obsession with the anally-retentive minutiae of a band that has been defunct for nearly 50 years. The non-SHite Beatard might recognize the reference, but fails to find any humor in it because he or she is too busy laughing at the SHite Beatard who poated the thing in the first place.

Thanks for breaking that down. I’ve never been in a Beatles thread over there, looks like I’m not missing much.
