Look who lost his ass in the divorce. 8 grand in stereo and cables all sitting on a nice, free table from mom's garage.

From the wall dampeners to the unvarnished wood to the excessive and possibly redundant additional speakers to the cheap lighting, at fist glance it looks like the inside of every grotty, damp rehearsal room in London.
Why has he spent all that money on equipment only to cheap out on milk crates and bad Ikea shelving?

Dilly being his usual asshole self in that thread:
Funny, I don't see the stack of lottery tickets I'm assuming you are amassing.
At this rate, you will run out of room to breathe, and will need to move. I suggest one of those closed-down Sears, JC Penney or K-Marts near you, may offer enough space...and still give you that basement/warehouse aesthetic you seem to gravitate to.
Funny, I never considered using actual walls of speakers, in lieu of actual wall treatments. Bravo!

This room has always made my skin crawl and now he's added some more "art." It's just so gross and cheap looking. This is the sort of guy who blings out his Dodge Ram with all that glittery shit from AutoZone.

All that money spent and you put a speaker in front of a cavernous entryway.

And one speaker behind a couch. Normally I wouldn’t care but this tool is one of those guys who routinely touts boutique power cords because he can hear night and day differences with them.

I've never seen a living room that needs a "If this van's a-rockin', don't come a-knockin'!" bumper sticker before.

Here's one of my kick-ass "listening rooms" - definitely would give STeVE or most SHites the vapors, I know. Do you like my speakers and placement? Barry Diament would be sad. The other rooms are an OK simple surround system for my TV and a decent Yamaha/Polk/Pioneer Elite/Sony surround system for real music. Oh, and Leo the cat. Two weeks ago this room was home to about 30 banker's boxes of stuff. I am proud of myself for reclaiming my home room by room. The hauling company will be back tomorrow for more crap! Yay!
