Cassius gets no mention along with the others in the "People who have sold me vinyl thread". What the fuck?

MYKE anxiously awaiting a Whiplash mailer in the digital downstairs. Close, but I'm sure he's positioned a bit differently.

He can't be turning and changing records enough if all that standing up and sitting down allows him to be obese

I love how something like that, he just shrugs off. But a tiny bent corner on a delivery box, he loses his shit.

MYKE’s so used to being flipped over himself round the back of the Blue Oyster Bar that it makes a nice change for him to be doing it.

I'll never understand the point of this comparing versions thing. Just listen to Life in the Fast Lane and shut the fuck up.

Yeah, but on THIS version, you can hear Glenn Frey snort a line of blow off the amp. You just don't get that on any of my other 6 copies.

Actually I reckon Don Henley woulda been the Eagle blowing coke up Stevie Nicks' ass...he did knock her up (and probably around) after all...

Making Stevie abort the kid after knocking her up is even douchenozzier than lovin' and Learin' them or letting a fourteen year girl OD on coke at his house in the early 80's. For all of Don Henley's erudite speech and acting so edumacated and all that shit, the fuckin' guy still comes across as one of the most low class figures in rock with some of the shit he's gotten away with over the decades. A well read, well spoken lowlife, but a goddamn lowlife just the same. Joe Walsh may have turned his brain into Swiss Cheese from all the drugs, but at least he didn't knock anybody up, force them to get an abortion or overdose an underage girl.
