What a sad and depressing retyrement. Music should be the soundtrack to your life, not your actual life.

Jesus Fucking Christ. Pink Floyd just announced a Japan-only reissue of Atom Heart Mother with a blu-ray of restored super-8 footage that’s mostly been released. I like this album far more than I sensibly should but no fucking way am I paying more than a tenner for it. Surely MYKE would show some restraint too?
Of course he fucking wouldn’t.
Seventy-five dollars for a CD and a blu-ray of worthless footage that’ll be on YouTube within hours of release. What a chump.
EDIT I looked up what the footage was, and this is the translation from Japanese. Most of the blu-ray is performance footage of Atom Heart Mother at some Japanese festival, which is already on the Early Years set. So this is why Myke’s paying seventy-five dollars for.

True fans have been waiting decades for that bulldozer footage. I can’t believe they’ve finally cleared all the legal hurdles to get it released.

Sounds like it's time for ol' MYKEY to go to a fucking home, or at least daycare. What a pathetic old fool.

Unless they legally cleared the bulldozer audio as well. I'm skeptical. I'll Floyd the fuck out when this arrives in either case.

If I do something careless/stupid, I might mention it to a friend for a laugh (if the situation was actually funny). I just don’t understand why MYKE (or any number of the über SHites over there) regularly poat accounts of themselves being complete numbskulls (like they are proud of it or something). What was MYKE trying to do by writing about his little escapade? Is he trying to show off how dedicated he is to the hobby by actually going outside to look for a box of records? (And why would you even need to leave the threshold of a door to see if a box of records had been delivered or not? I’m pretty sure postal workers know the difference between a front porch and a shrubbery.) And in how much of a hurry must you be in to actually break a door latch? I suppose I could see it happen if you were trying to get away from a zombie horde, but it takes a special kind of shithead to do it without the urgency of an encroaching mass of the undead. So, not only do you have MYKE getting into a pathetic SHite situation by being a ham-fisted imbecile, you also have him proudly poating about being such a dumbass. essayceedee is right. MYKE needs to be someplace where he doesn’t have to go outside to look for phantom boxes of records, and where his meds are handed to him in little paper cups.

Ingrates. My hair was on fire over this. Were the rekkids actually being delivered? No, evidently they were not. But MYKE locked himself out looking for the delivery. This in 90+ degrees in Suckcock, Tennessee, fer chrissakes! Good on CHRYS for coming home to the upstairs/downstairs. What a relief! But, in a Hallmark moment, the rekkids were then delivered later. Whew. I'm breathing again.

MYKE doesn't have friends. This isn't necessarily by choice.
