Kool-Aid is a sugary drink, so I guess we should have expected Jeats would drink it sooner or later.

Mum, Dad and Son in happier times.
You're a Chris Morris fan, I presume...

They’ve lost all objectivity over there when it comes to their beloved Macca. If it (Fuh You) was Lady Gaga’s new song they’d be gathering up the torches and pitchforks.

You're not supposed to understand it. It's aimed at young people. In fact, if you don't like it, that just proves Paul's genius.

It's the creaky old man voice that makes me not have very much interest in this new album of McCartney's at all. I'm taking my stepson to see him in concert next month for the experience but if Paul sounds like absolute shite on the night we're outta there.

I always knew the Egypt Station thread would descend into a dispute between cancer survivors.

I haven't bought any new McCartney stuff since Electric Arguments (which I actually liked). Went with a friend to see one of his shows in 2010, and we both enjoyed it. (Since Electric Arguments was still his latest release at that point, he did a couple of songs from it. I was happy to hear them.) The 2018 version of McCartney is likely more creaky than the 2010 version, but you might get lucky. (Still, I have no desire to buy his new album. I'm likely done with him unless he and Youth do another Fireman record.)

Oh, the wife and I saw him the last time he was here in 2012, he was pretty creaky then but he's gotten exponentially worse in the last six years. And it's not like I splurged for floor seats or anything, cheap nosebleed seats will suffice.

I think the last new McCartney stuff I bought was "Say Say Say" and that was just because of MJ.
