In honour of Stevie’s tour, here are the Beagles covering Stevie:
That last one has my all time favourite Rfreeman moment (“band leader” Rob yells to hear some horns too early, dances awkwardly waiting for the horns to come in), but no one else agreed with me. It’s at 2:23.

Stevie might be on time for the show, but he sure can drag the set out. I saw him in Baltimore in 2015, Songs in the Key of Life tour, and had to leave at 11pm to catch the train. He wasted so much time messing with his key-tar doing covers, that I didn’t get to hear my two favorites: As & Another Star. He wasted a lot of time trying to get the audience to sing.
He’s still one of my favorites, and have seen many excellent shows, but that 2015 show was painful

Never have I complained about a legend like Stevie spending too much time performing at a show. Sounds more like bad planning on your part.
He certainly played and played and played at the Newark show I saw in 2015. And I was delighted as our seats kept getting better as the crowd thinned out - perhaps to catch trains. We started in the top tier and were probably 30 feet from the stage by the time he called it a night.
So if ya go see Stevie somewhere without 24hr transit - drive or plan to Uber home
Given that the encore was where you got to see the hits not from SITKOL - it was well worth staying for it all
