Just saw that he posted a link to his new Christmas song in a thread about holiday music over there yesterday. So far it has 1 like.

Another Xmas tune from the big show, this time a blues cover of Joan Osbourne. Rob’s gal still can’t sing anything without reading the line off the lyric stand and Rob has a terrible mini-solo at 0:15 and seems to be in great pain at the 1:51 solo:

I think 1:05 might be the guitarist equivalent of a vocal stutter. And at 1:52, I think he overdubs a crowd cheering him as he climaxes into the sound hole.

I'm sure that after the set Robbo strongly reminded the vocalist not to vocally interject all over his guitar solo and that everyone in the Beagles needs to know their place.

"I'M the fucking star here, JACK. Get it? I'M who they're all coming to see. I'M the one who runs this show. I'M the one who writes, produces, remasturbates, and arranges this whole shebang. I'M the one who gets Long Dong Chaney up in this bitch. Know your fucking role, gibrone."

And another. “Arranged by Rob Freeman, inspired by John Coltrane” is certainly an interesting credit. Solo starts around 2:07, and rfreeman is bathed in a green light that combined with his spastic moves makes him look like a guy suffering from severe food poisoning.

Good to see Morticia’s back, I was worried there for a moment. Was that sympathy applause after his strangled solo? Overall, not as bad as I was hoping for.

Get the drummer a pair of brushes! And a sense of subtlety.

Every solo he plays sounds like it belongs in a different song.

A bit of a stretch to claim an arrangers credit on that one, it sounds like the Charlie Brown version with guitar and singing.
Also 'inspired by Coltrane' is the last way I would have described either of those solos.

Every solo he plays sounds like it belongs in a different song. Inspired by Zappa’s Xenochrony, I’m sure.

That's what guitar diarrhea sounds like. How many free tickets were taken?
