RfReeman is the weak link in that sorry troupe. His vocals and guitar are jarringly bad in the context of an unrehearsed community project level band. That being said, I am now Lalalala-ing around the house and I want to kill something. Speaking of which: I think rfreeman is the missing link, or even is missing a few links... la la la / LA LA LA / la la la / LA LA LA LA LA LA

Live version of “Love at a Chris-uh-mus Time” now posted. Not only did it get a thumbs down, but one of the YouTube recommendations I got was for something titled “Playing Wrong Notes.” Ouch. Up to 4 thumbs down now. I've seen viral videos with millions of views with less than that (he's currently on 24, most of them from here, I imagine). 14 down and 0 up.

Leaving a downvote means I’d actually have to go to Freeman’s YouTube channel.
Not an equitable trade off, methinks.

The real fun starts at 2:12. Does Robbie even have any understanding of music and rhythm to at least sing in time? What a putz.

Have a Beagles Do Beatles show booked for an outdoor plaza in the heart of Princeton on May 8 to commemorate the 50th Anniv as well. 15 people doing 32 Len-Mac and 1 Harrison tune and getting paid from a National Historical Society grant based on the historic significance of the anniversary of the release of their final LP Why is George getting the short shrift? I planned 2 Harrison tunes but our horn section decided they didn't love Savoy Truffle. Bottom line is it comes down to my taste, though I stuck in a few requested by others of our cast of 15. We are playing: I Saw Her Standing There She Loves You I Want To Hold Your Hand It Wont Be Long All I've Gotta Do I Wanna Be Your Man If I Fell I'll Cry Instead You Cant Do That Eight Days A Week Help The Night Before Ticket To Ride You're Gonna Lose That Girl You've Got To Hide Your Love Away Yesterday (horns instead of strings, ala WOA) Day Tripper If I Needed Someone And Your Bird Can Sing For No One Dr Robert Got To Get You Into My Life (EW&F version) Lady Madonna I Will Yer Blues Hey Bulldog (adding horns doubling guitar riff) Come Together Oh Darling Let It Be Dont Let Me Down One After 909 Get Back Encore: Hey Jude I have my work cut out for me - started rehearsals last weekend with the horn section. Kind of heavy on the Help tunes as I did a Help tribute for the 50th Anniv of that 5 years ago, so I have a head start on those.
