"I have always thought in the back of my mind....peeling onions..." WARNING! If the Rutles are referenced three times in ANY thread, Arnold Grove will appear – fully armed with trouser jokes and winking emojis!

Sometimes I feel bad for making fun of old Rob...but then I make the mistake of actually playing one of his videos. I make it about 5 seconds in and the feeling bad goes away. Geesus. If he weren’t so damn full of himself it wouldn’t be so bad but he keeps putting this crap out there like it has any redeeming qualities. That's the thing. Between this asshole and Scoot, they are talentless boobs who have images of grandeur. That guy who used to post at SHTV, Mark something, was in the Pillbugs. Guy was a talented motherfucker but didn't self promote or gloat. I actually bought one of their CDs. Pretty cool stuff.

"Sad songs are nature's onions." Features the source for the "Mouthful of Sores" avatard used by somebody at the previous place. I might never have checked out Mr Show if not for this forum. But I also probably would never have played a Freeman vid. It's a fair trade off, I suppose.

Two poats by rfreeman in the last couple of hours mention seeing Yellow Submarine at the age of three. How often does this happen? Almost as often as he shoehorns his awful music into the conversation.

Used to.

He's the same age as me and I'm fucked if I can remember what I was listening to when I was 3 years-old! My baby-sister crying, probably.

No surprise that the song isn’t good at all. The other guitarist seems to be trying his best to play something interesting, but he’s drowned out by whatever horror that our Rob is doing to make his guitar sound like an abattoir.
I feel very sorry for what are presumably his daughters, who were I guess bribed into appearing in the video as bored dancers.

Yknow, if you take out the terrible backing vocals, the shitty lyrics, the derivative guitar work (but not as derivative as She Loves You!), and the boring Sam Cooke ripoff melody, it’s actually not bad.

Said the leader of a S.W.A.T. unit..? They've already tried. Unfortunately, right as they took the shot, he did one of his classic crouching guitar solos. The sax player was an unintended casualty.
I do sincerely miss him. He had a very nice tone. Hope he's onto to better things.
