Biggest difference between two consecutive albums by any artist? As discussed elsewhere here, McCartney I vs Ram. Debut is nearly homemade affair with barely there songs and songs without lyrics and Ram has fully realized songs performed by a band I can't vouch for this as I've never heard the albums, but I understand this is the case with Radiohead's OK Computer and Kid A. Maybe not the biggest by my fave band The Pretty Things did this at least twice: 1967 - Emotions - a chill, horned pop, upbeat, Swinging London Kinks type album 1968 - SF Sorrow - a depressing rock opera featuring proto-metal songs that whose recording was witnessed by 3 of the Beatles during their "Helter Skelter" sessions. 1976 - Savage Eye - a crazy variety of songs from ELO pop, to moody folk, to AOR. 1980 - Cross Talk - stripped new wave/power pop with 100% consistent conviction (unlike the spotty 2 chord Some Girls.) Really, the band made a career out of ensuring each album was distinctly different than the last. Too many posts leave it unclear if they think the 2nd album is better or worse than its predecessor. It's not always obvious! Oh, you're right! The OP doesn't really indicate that you have to think the albums are better/worse - just different. My mistake!

So pathetic, maybe stop listening to the same garbage over and over so discovering new music won’t be such a god damned chore that you have to find a way to shoehorn into your busy day.

The Jim Morrison ping pong thread is the most 'hilarious' thing they've seen in years.

Moshe:
“I use to see this begger in front of the pizza place almost everyday. He was a black guy. He was like a salesman. He was good. He sort of had this pitch he would do. He would say "GIVE TO THE UNITED NEGRO PIZZA FUND"! He was so funny and people I think liked him . I haven't seen him in years. I liked him.“

It starts with someone saying that "Careless Whisper" is a forgotten hit of the 1980s, and ends...somewhere.
