Hit Man (2023), 6/10. A fun film, with a good premise, but loses it's way a bit in the final third I thought.

Is that lead actress South Asian? You don’t see too many of those ladies heading up Hollywood films — good on these filmmakers.

My first time seeing her, and hopefully not the last.

After the better part of 10-12 years now I've detected some personal fatigue in relation to my never ending pursuit of re-issues - remasters/ box sets/ remixes/ previously unissued sets - you name it. I'm trending lately to simply discovering new music, including music from so-called catalog or vintage artists I've not previously encountered or bothered to dig into. I find I'm much more interested in having clean sounding 'definitive' copies of whatever it is (usually the original un-futzed with mastering) and am happy to stand pat with that. Also a bit tired of trying to purchase material for artists who simply refuse to market/ stock product in the US as it just becomes too difficult/ expensive at some point to collect these records.



I think what's happening is I realize I only have so much time for music at my age, and the thought of having essentially 8-10 versions of the same music is not so enticing. I know this puts me at cross-purposes to the SDE or Second Disc crowd, but I feel like this is where I'm headed going forward.

Yes, and I was there well before you. Except for the part about discovering new music -- I'm not much into that.
