Judy Garland and Friends. Taking a quick look at it it doesn’t look like he actually does anything other than upload old radio shows, so I don’t know why he would think uploading Bing Crosby episodes would give him the ability to interview people or edit audio into something worth listening to: judy-garland.podomatic.com
"If you are an exec who ended up launching an artist such as Juice Newton in a major way, you ought to be remembered.”
"My amp weighs close to 90 pounds. I'm considering buying a VTI 6-shelf audio rack rated at a max of 220 pounds per glass shelf. I'll be nowhere near the rack's total capacity of 350 pounds.
Would you nevertheless be nervous about placing the amp on the 2nd or 3rd shelf from the top?" Strat-Mangler, Apr 19, 202
Tired guys. It's 0212 hours EST. Going to take my Quadrone butt off this frozen bench go home have my dinner (egg rolls and half a dozen Donuts) and hit the sack.
So I am signing off now. I have enjoyed tonight's posting very much.
Bye.
Today, WayneKlein slags Air Supply, John Morris is having none of that
9 top hits on the American, Canadian and British charts charts from 1980 to 1984. All three albums: Lost In Love (1980), The One That Love (1981) and Now And Forever (1982) went triple platinum in the U.S. Yea, they were IN FAVOUR. They were a ballad Rock band. If you were in school between 1981 - 1983 they were the kings of the slow dance. But they never got played on Rock radio on stations like Toronto's Q-107 or Rock 102. But MJ never got played on CHUM 104 FM or Q-107 FM either. I suppose Micheal Jackson was crap too.
Because YOU think a band is crap doesn't mean the band is crap. For example I think: Stone Temple Pilots, Pear Jam, and Nirvana were garbage. And they all sounded the same but those bands are not garbage. I can step back, listen and judge the music. It is a musical maturity most people don't have.
The Beatles, Styx, And many other bands you probably like did ballads. Why aren't they crap? So if you only listened to Rock Radio stations there are a lot of bands you wouldn't hear. Sorry you missed all that great music. You remind me of my older brother who would slam any band that did too many ballads: I am gonna guess you stopped listening to Chicago after Hot Streets. Just a guess. Am I right? I told my brother that Chicago: 16, 17, 18 and 19 were multiple platinum hits. And in 1989 Chicago won song of the year for, "Look Away." When I saw Chicago 18 on tour they packed the CNE Grand Stand with almost 30 000 people. And in 1990 Chiago won song of the year for, "What Kind Of Man I would Be." All crappy ballads from a crappy ballad band. (Sarcasm) My brother was like, "What?! Chicago hits?!..." Since he only listened to his Rock radio stations (with their teenage high school head banger play list) he never heard any of their songs after 1978. The reason you think Air Suppply was never a band "in favor" is because the stations you listened to (banged your head to...) never played Air Supply. In 1982 the Air Supply played to 40 000 in Toronto's CNE Grand Exhibition. Pretty good for a CRAP BAND.
If only Terry Kath was still Alive. The band was really rocking with him. Instead they turned into that CRAP ballad band. By 1977 Terry Kath and the rest of the band (except for Danny) was in a drug filled haze. Sorry, but Terry Kath left the band A LONG TIME AGO lost in a drug filled haze.. And one day in a drug drenched binge Kath pointed a loaded gun to his head and pulled the trigger. What an idiot? And the press called it a gun accident. The jackass was high! The band by 1981 was freaking going nowhere. Luckily Danny found David Foster. In one year Chicago was back on the charts again paying to packed houses. And then came Chicago 17 - the biggest selling album of 1984. Between 1982 - 1989 Chicago would go on to record some of the best Rock ballads of the 80's. But I suppose their ballads of the 80's are crap to you. Funny how their ballads of the 70's are o.k.
As for what Rolling Stone magazine has to say on Air Supply I could give a CRAP. This is the magazine that trashed the first three Led Zeppelin albums when they came out. And ignored Rush until a few years ago. So the critics can go fudge themselves.
Graham Russel wrote some of the most beautiful ballads of the late 20th century. Did you know Air Supply's drummer made the cover of Modern Drummer in 1982. He is considered one of the Rock's best ballad drummers.
"Slow music allows the music to breath..." - John Bonham of Led Zeppelin.
Let me guess - you think Air Supply is crap because they songs don't feature any guitar riffs. and they sing love songs.

I find young people today have a very limited vocabulary. Everything is either COOL or CRAP or it SUCKS. Try words like: Dislike or loath. To a lot of persons under 25 everything is either a 10 or a 0.
