Checking out the hardware pages I discovered Thorensman, this guy is seriously clueless/hopeless. He’s also another SHite with bizarre writing patterns and grammar.

I have to say that I ,ve silenced most records by washing with household soap
Ie. Dove and cotton wool using a label protector and warm water
Wash in direction of groove.
Rinse well.
Wipe excess off with a sponge( thin flat one,)
When dry lay it flat on old inner sleeve,
And using a lint free cloth gently polish again in direction of grooves till record is spotless.
Now wash in spin clean,( I use disco antistat) I use a mixture of isopropyl
Alcohol and distilled water
50/50 or 30/70.
When dry, lightly polish in direction
Of grooves.
Record should now look rather clean.
I finish using Winyl( Ebay or you can make it yourself.)
Use as economically as possible
Uding your finger.
When dry use Masking tape to peel it off
Use masking tape remove any bits left.
Now this transforms sound quality
To a high standard.
Indeed many complaints of inner
Groove distortion cease with this treatment. I.place on small tuna fish cans
Covered in felt to prevent scratching
Record.“
