Quakerism:
"Two of my childhood friends planned an ill advised burglary of an elderly man’s home. They compounded the stupidity of it by taking a handgun from one of their father’s gun cabinets with them. They were in the basement when the elderly man confronted them. One of my friends shot and killed the homeowner. They were juveniles so didn’t receive the full wrath of the law. But that’s just an example of how things can go wrong."

I really hope the old man’s family was understanding. You know, since it was just an example of how things can go wrong.

"A tale of two discs" - not as fascinating as the title suggests.

This one about the nasty man Pete Townshend saying bad words about his dead bandmates (the one who routinely abused his wife, and the one who died of a drug overdose with a hooker in Vegas) is liberally sprinkled with the very worst SHiTE talk. forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/ucr-article-pete-townshend-is-glad-keith-moon-and-john-entwistle-are-gone.903647/page-10So far we’ve got: - Pete has dementia - Good old Roger for backing Brexit - I know people who’ve died so I can’t support them any more - Rolling Stone is garbage - This will ruin any chance the new album has of getting to number one Fuckwits. All of them.

forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/british-englishisms-that-americans-may-not-understand-in-song-lyrics.904332/ - oh those jack and spunk bubble fuckers From: The Police - Every Move You Make: The Studio Recordings 40th anniversary collection: sunking101 said: ↑ Why do record companies almost always get this stuff wrong? It does my head in. Just how hard is it to master these things properly? Why are we forced into buying the vinyl which costs a ton more? What the hell is wrong with the mastering ? Sure, it is louder, compared to the 80s CD versions, but it sounds warm and balanced. sathvyre, Yesterday at 12:35 PM Then: More people are saying it's harsh, bright, loud, smiley EQ'd, forward drums etc than there are saying that it's great. sunking101, Yesterday at 3:06 PM Good old sathyre: I don't care what other people say. I use my own ears, listen on my own equipment and am fine with it. Nothing harsh or bright here. sathvyre, Yesterday at 3:50 PM And then this prick: We, who appreciate quality mastering, are a small niche, so in their mind they are doing a good job selling it to the masses. CrimsonPiper, Yesterday at 6:00 PM If only Sleaze Hoffman could say it sounds great. I like sathyre though, he did a good piece on the Pistols.
