There's really no winners there, but I do like that some anonymous fartknocker from the Steve Miller Band is sucking up to his boss like this.

“I remember one time - it might have been a couple times - at the Fillmore East in 1970, I was opening for this sorry-ass cat named Steve Miller. Steve Miller didn't have his shit going for him, so I'm pissed because I got to open for this non-playing motherfucker just because he had one or two sorry-ass records out. So I would come late and he would have to go on first and then we got there we smoked the motherfucking place, everybody dug it.”
Miles Davis
Who could possibly stomach a set from Steve Miller after hearing Miles Davis play? Whoever arranged that is just cruel. Davis did him a favor by showing up late. I would gladly sit through a Steve Miller set to hear Davis. But other way around? I'd leave early. Even Bill Graham couldn’t be bothered to put Steve Miller’s name on the marquee when he had Miles on the bill.

I am just confused with STeVe’s inside connections why he didn’t get the job to work on Macca’s Archive Collection releases. 🤔🤔🤔

Lownote30 is what the "insiders" should aspire to.

applejam101 said: ↑ maccawings mikecarrera Any insights that you can share? Are the Beatles over for the rest of the year? Just my two cents: every insider here must have been told to shut up, basically, by the powers that be until further notice. As it’s been suggested, decisions are being made now, plans are being discussed and I don’t know if we’ll hear from them until waters are quiet.
I could be wrong, just guessing, but... Cristiano Cortellazzi, Saturday at 3:19 PM#1506
Apple/Universal mean business. Don't forget that they're watching Hoofy's site due to the unprecedented amount of highly detailed "insider" info that has been previously been leaked regarding Beatles releases.......
