Weird. A "Giles Is Working On White Album" thread from an "incide source" (sic) just went poof.

And some of the members there get SO fucking defensive whenever you question the merits of any of these so-called "insiders"...it's as if those losers want to believe these fucking bullshit con artists.
Hoffman's forum is as good example as any of how PT Barnum was right!

Like there are any "insiders" on Hoffman's shitty little vanity page.

Giles Martin or somebody else at Apple Corps. already stated that the White Album would logically come next in an interview, so there's no need for an inside source. And I can even bet that Abbey Road will be the third and final entry for a boxset in 2019. Let It Be is off the table given that a) Let It Be Naked already exists, so almost every outtake or alternate take of interest is already available b) they wouldn't include the theatrical film, which is the thing the remaining fans would ask first.

Like there are any "insiders" on Hoffman's shitty little vanity page. Anytime a real insider shows up at Hoffman's forum -say, Ken Scott- they don't last long. And usually end up handing a few SHiTES their asses back to them before they leave. Ron Furmanek, anyone?

The most frustrating thing about the original SC.tv crapping out is the loss of all its content...

And usually end up handing a few SHiTES their asses back to them before they leave. Ron Furmanek, anyone? I almost started a thread about this, but realized the poats were almost a year old and not especially funny. But there is a tangential relationship to the idea of "insider", so I'll mention it here. There was an interesting appearance by an "insider" of sorts who showed up in late 2016 and still lingers. "Koabac" is the son of Jeff Barry, best known as songwriting partner (and husband) of Ellie Greenwich, and co-writer of tons of famous pop hits, incuding "Da Doo Ron Ron", "Be My Baby", "River Deep Mountain High", "Chapel of Love"...the list seems endless. Oldies gold; the personification of professional songwriting pro of the 60's. Of course, it would be a lot cooler if Jeff Barry himself were chilling with the SHites, but okay, the son is still an interesting catch. Maybe the kid heard or witnessed some interesting stuff? After all, his dad worked side by side with Phil Spector, the Shangri La's, the Archies, and other luminaries of the era. He even discovered Neil Diamond. Do the SHites want to know about that? Hell no. It turns out, Jeff got into producing in the latter half of the 60's, and one project assigned to him was the execrable, slick-shit swan-song by the then-duo Monkees, Changes (not that the Monkees were great before, but by then it was truly over) He and bubblegum bard Andy Kim wrote the songs, and Jeff produced it. Jeff's son, who has an almost weirdly selfless devotion to his dad that is either touching or weird (his life ambition is to make a movie about dad), let it slip that Jeff has crates of outtakes and demos and shit from his days in the biz. Forget Phil Spector and the Shangri La's, this guy has unreleased stuff from Changes sitting in a box somewhere!! Koabac, who seems like a nice guy, amiably agrees to go rooting around in the boxes to see what's there. Turns out the Monkees are one of his favorite groups, right up there with the Archies (and his dad's other music) Before he can even check, SHites start posting their dream track listings for a 3-CD deluxe Changes box set that they wanna spend money on. Unfortunately, Koabac gets sidetracked with an exciting new project with his dad, and informs the forum that it will postpone his treasure hunt. This doesn't stop the SHites from posting "well? did you find anything" messages... Hopefully, @koabac doesn't think we're being annoying, but this is yet another shout-out to inquire as to whether anything has surfaced with regard to Changes in those boxes of tapes that were discovered in the attic last year! We're all on pins-and-needles here, wondering if there might be some heretofore unknown gems residing on those reels! It sounds like you've been busy with other projects, but please don't forget about us Monkee-maniacs!! Thanks!! He eventually resurfaces after a few months to say he hasn't found anything yet. But the SHites keep pestering him. Totally agree on all points. Very respectively said. Hopefully @koabac will provide us with an update soon so we fans can keep our sanity (hey, it's no surprise the word "fan" is a shortened version of the word "fanatic", we Monkees nuts on this forum are proof of that!) I did give an update! About 5 posts above this one! A year has passed, but he's still there. Hasn't turned up anything yet, though... forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/monkees-changes-appreciation-album-thread.336987/page-12This isn't a very good example, but I figured it was at least worth documenting his visit. But any kind of celebrity, musician, producer or engineer, or guy with tapes is gonna be pestered endlessly by the geekiest of geeks. It is probably more fun to bathe in honey and be doused in ants. I'm surprised this guy has lasted this long, but he seems pretty SHitey in his own way. Scion to all those songwriting royalties and he wants to discuss the Monkees worst album at Hoofer's? Why isn't he boozing it up and getting laid?

It figures the SHites would pester Jeff Barry's kid with talk about that "Changes" LP – the fucking "Plan Nine From Outer Space" of bad Monkees records.
If I was gonna go rooting around in boxes of circa-1970 Jeff Barry session tapes, it certainly wouldn't be for that made-for-TV band.
It would be for this one:

Who doesn't drool over fifty year old recordings of coked out pop stars yelling at each other and spewing pablum? Only if they cut from the analog tapes, of course.

Merry fucking Xmas He-Man! Dave, your bump caused me to venture over there... Good god...SHite unboxing videos (with them wearing Santa hats)..."Krimble" cartoons....pictures of SHite music rooms... Leave it to SHite Beatards for totally taking a dump on the holidays. (I'm sorely tempted to post one of their unboxing videos here to spread the pain, but in the spirit of the season, I won't.)

Heheh... Something tells me that this isn't the legacy John Lennon would have hoped for, but he also has to get some blame for never seeing it coming. He should have known where this would lead when he blessed the first Beatlefest in 1974.
I hope Apple keeps selling them expensive shit they already own every Xmas; may the unboxings never end, until they end. We will have more data on individual SHite socioeconomic levels when we see the grumbling about buying six versions of the White Album next Xmas... Muahahaha, hope it sets them back five C-notes next year to get them all...

For those who still manage to maintain some residual fondness for Christmas, this ought to take care of that once and for all. Enjoy! COLA, my poat right before yours wasn't a dare!
