I agree that killing their careers without proof is bad. But, here's the thing: the studios/companies likely already know about everything going on, well beyond allegations. Until it goes public, however, they are content to sit back and let it happen so long as they are making money. These abusers manage to accrue such a laundry list of activities because there is no accountability. Only now, thanks to #metoo and the whole movement, are they getting called out for it.

Yeah, I think this pretty much nails it. No pun intended.

Who is this Thievius turd? Sounds like yer typical Alt Right SHiTE to me. Probably spends their time on Breitbart when they're not trolling at Hoffman's place.

It’s not really that hard to find examples of the casting couch or similar open secrets which were tolerated in the past because the person responsible was still bringing in the cash. When Cosby was huge, no one cared. But now that he’s seen more as a pompous cultural critic, he’s fair game. The charges are disgusting and he’s earned any punishment coming his way but you can’t tell me no one knew about his shit which was going on back to the 60s. Hell, I’ve seen the allegations that his wife/manager even knew.

Thank Jeebus for Hannibal Buress bringing it all back out into the open. One of the many reasons I love that guy.

That has to be one of the most heinous things I've ever read on this forum. Let me get this straight. According to the above poster, false accusations against innocent men can be justified due to crimes that past men may (or may not) have committed? In essence, making them sacrificial lambs. "So be it", he says. :realmad: Would you be cool with the "unpleasantness" if it were yourself or your son whom was falsely accused? Probably not, I bet. I'm not going near the subject of the allegations. However, MSN reports that Hardwick was the founder of Nerdist, yet the company has erased all references to him "pending further investigation." That is literally rewriting history--a very dangerous road to take. I know and have read everything you wrote and I stand by my words. The abuse you speak of I assign to people that have been abused and forceably raped not just having sex she thought was uncomfortable. That and people that are married and have financial and lawful ties as well as emotional ones....not to mention kids. Her own statement was weak. To compare her situation to that is just absurd to me. I think she is lying and seeking opportunity. Just not buying it at all. She is a cheater and obviously a manipulator more concerned about saving face then going after the wrong doing. Read her words not just Chris. It smells.

But no politics allowed in SHiteville ...unless the politics fall in line with the Alt Right views of the Gorts.

Hollywood is hypocritical for attacking him every day 24/7. There is not a day, not a month, not a week, not a year, where they don't ridicule Bill Cosby. Yet they continue to idolize everyone else accused of sex crimes. Hypocrites, all of them.

I'm sure the SHiTes (like the Senate Republicans) thought the crying, unhinged Brett Kavanaugh did well today.

Kavanaugh desperately needed a scotch or three to smooth himself out today. Watching him, I was reminded of the ill-fated Duck Phillips character in Mad Men.
Particularly this scene, how it played out:

Bill Cosby was the ultimate bad guy playing a good guy. The same people who are offended by "Spanish Fly" (people like you), a harmless comedy routine, are the same people who are okay with all the horrible, mean, and vile crap spewed by David Letterman, Joan Rivers, Judd Apatow, Jimmy Kimmel, and Don Rickles, and the like. And I wish Don Lemon would be banned from the media for giving those women a platform. A lot of their stories have already been proven false, but the media won't talk about it.
