He longs for the golden days of the seventies, where there would be a lot of touching between men, before these sports were pussified.

George Mendonsa passed away yesterday at 95 years old. The image of a sailor kissing a nurse on VJ day in 1945. (Victory over Japan) George simply elated at the news of Japans surrender. He was also grateful for how the nurses took care of injured sailors. To the point of grabbing a nurse and giving her a kiss. As soon as I saw the pic in post 2 I figured it was only a matter of time before some m0ron did something like this... what would be the reason for this vandalism? people kissing? Huh? You go grab a girl off the street as you're walking by and just smooch the hell out of her, see how that goes for you. You might get lucky, you might not, but it's definitely not something that should be encouraged. That said, the original event was at the end of a war so I understand why it happened, and so this is not the best hill for #metoo to die on...but it should also be made clear that this is not the sort of thing that should happen under normal circumstances. These clucking MeToo hens would all be saying “ich auch” if not for guys like him sacrificing themselves to protect them.

you're comparing a current sick, twisted, disgusting, insane world compared to the world of the 40's...look at the ppl in the pic they were smiling and seemed to be in awe...I don't see shock, jail, and lawsuits pending... For sure. We had just won WWII and everyone was ecstatic. A totally different time. Of course, things get spun with today's outlook. They do get spun. Unfortunately that spin often leads to an event being misunderstood because of a lack of knowledge of the past...even world altering BIG events like Japan surrendering to bring WWII to an end. When self serving movements "take action" and use something like the statue of the kissing sailor in a failed attempt to make a point it really shows how little the movement understands, or cares, what the real situation was, or is. If a person has even a modicum of historical knowledge they would NOT lump a sexual attacker into the same class as the elated sailor kissing a nurse in celebration of Japans surrender...at the end of a multi year, multi nation, world war. In this instance there is no comparison because the two events are foreign to each other in scope, intent, and outcome. Comparing the kissing sailor to a sexual assault would be like comparing an image of Jimi Hendrix, on stage, on his knees, guitar on fire, as a method of encouraging arson. When you know the history of that image it is no such thing. I know that wikipedia does not equal absolute truth, but in the entry it says, that the sailor was grabbing every woman in sight to kiss them. It also gives a quotation by a woman most likely the nurse in the picture: "It wasn't my choice to be kissed", Friedman stated in a 2005 interview with the Library of Congress. "The guy just came over and grabbed!" she said, adding, "That man was very strong. I wasn't kissing him. He was kissing me." "I did not see him approaching, and before I know it I was in this tight grip," Friedman told CBS News in 2012.Sure, it was a special situation and a different time. But we still can't say with certainty that the woman was ok with being kissed by a stranger. I her a clip of her telling this story on the radio so I know her quotes in this article are accurate. She was an unwilling participant in the kiss and a bit scared while it was happening.

A lot of news outlets are refusing to report on the fact that Gunn was attending a certain type of disturbing party, and his best friend whom he was retweeting was caught with some horrifying stuff. Wonder if @vidiot still defends Gunn after this? James Gunn is a deplorable scumbag and pathetic excuse for a human being. I'm glad he got his karma. Thank you, Mike Cernovich. Apparently, Gunn NEVER (and I mean, NEVER) considered the MANY victims of child abuse who may have been offended by those tweets. I am upset, in my opinion. It proves my point that Hellyweird will always protect their own. If you don't tow the line, Hellyweird will tar and feather you non-stop. Hellyweird felt Kevin Hart's tweets were very offensive (I didn't find them offensive, in contrast to James Gunn's tweets), but completely ignored similar tweets from Sarah Silverman, Amy Schumer, and Chelsea Handler.

Try triple parentheses. Also, I’d like to know how they would react to the documentary on The Aristocrats.

Brooklyn Nine-NineThis show is not nearly as funny since it switched over to NBC. Ugh. Why ruin a good thing with the social justice warrior stuff? I wish they wouldn't speak so fast. And the mumbling bi girl needs to go. I enjoyed the show as it was pure silliness and escapism. NBC has to interject the Me Too movement into the show. Really? If I wanted to be lectured to I'd watch CBS News. Ugh.
