I wonder if Now & Then is featured somewhere in the medley piece or 26 songs.I'd like to hear more about the 26 songs. I gather to buy all 26 in one set, customer has to wait until 2019 ?
Any further info ??.

What medley or 26 songs do you speak of?johnny moondog 909 said:
Well if you read all the posts, ( Trying I Know ) there is supposedly 26 songs altogether & supposedly a complete ? 2 disc ? Complete set, rolled out sometime later than the 4-6 initial product variations. Also noted ( not by me ) several fans have posted about Now & Then having similarities to I Don't Know. Perhaps plants to create a further buzz.
The medley-suite is partially described in several posts & the album press release. Seems like a logical spot to use it.

Daily Beatle is reporting 26 track deluxe Egypt Station to follow in October 2018That's Wogblog Wogew Daily Beatle

Yeah I see that, but not until October. I still say "Now And Then" will remain unreleased though. George was against it and his estate (Olivia and Dhani) seems to be honoring that wish. It will take all four former Beatles and their estates to agree on it ever coming out. What are the odds they'll all agree to let Paul put it on his own album anyway? It's rather a silly idea, really.johnny moondog 909 said:
Well "I Don't Know"A few minutes ago, you were saying there is no 26 track deluxe.
As to Now & Then, as anybody can tell you, an Abbey Road style, album ending 15 minute suite...needs a Lennon segment to sound like that.
Well I don't know.
Maybe they used the John Paul & Ringo only version. Left Dhani in the castle.
I'd say it's a 50/50 given the ending medley, 26 songs & top deck tight security. The 4 fans posting this far, that I don't know reminds them of Now & Then.
I have no clue just thinking out loud, coda anyone ?

I'd guess it's a 50/50pseudopod said:
On a Paul McCartney album? No chance. Sorry. It has more of a chance ending up in the White Album 50th and I would even say that's highly unlikely.johnny moondog 909 said:
Normally I'd agree about Now & Then on a Beatles solo. This time "may" be different.BUT I'm sure more, much more is afoot in further reveals, regardless of that song one way or another.

That lilting and dark piano intro has me thinking....Since "I Don't Know" is the first real song on Egypt Station, after the instrumental Station 1, is it possible that Paul revisits this piano theme later in the album or on the second to last track on the record "Despite Repeated Warnings" as a reprise to tie the LP together more...
Does this piano piece remind anyone else of "Now and Then"?
Has Paul finished "Now and Then" either using some of what the Threetles did in the 90s + John's demo, or a completely new recording of his own from scratch?
Would "Now and Then" be a track on Egypt Station..and if so, how would you feel about that?
Paul did say he'd nick the song one day and finish it with Jeff...Or maybe it's a piece that Paul has Emerick helping with for more Beatles vibes...
Or if not it's own track, then perhaps it's a small section of this multipart song "Despite Repeated Warnings"...Just a wild theory!

I had a very similar thought yesterday. Wouldn't that be something very, very special. I embrace this totally. Imagine a Lennon/McCartney co-write on this album. Just wow. And if I were to just daydream all over this, just imagine if Sean lends a little harmony here or there on the track. Sold!johnny moondog 909 said:
I hinted at this possibility in an earlier post a couple days ago.I don't think it's a lock, but I really believe it's not unlikely, I'd give it a 50/50 chance.
I agree with some of your theories & reasoning. In years past I don't think we'd have seen Now & Then on a "solo" album. But that might've changed.
It could be Beatles or a different John Paul & Ringo version. If the Harrison's balked. That would remove pressure to call it Beatles & be more John & Ringo guesting on a track.
The idea it could appear within a medley or suite near the end of the album, seems very logical & appropriate. At 76 it could be nearly a last chance for Paul & John to sing together. At 84 maybe Yoko agreed, or maybe they already have permission from 1994.
I don't hear similarities between I Don't Know & Now & Then but "several" people said they do & posted that.
As far as Jeff Lynne being the producer, who knows, it's on the official record David Kahne worked on it later, & unofficially that McCartney worked on it at the Mill.
Hey Ringos on it, a lot was done at Abbey Road, it has an Abbey Roadish medley closing the album... There's a supposed luxury version of 26 tracks. The tracklist is mostly secret.
It doesn't take a genius for a lightbulb to go off & ask the question.
There was also Olivia Harrison's on the record comments about giving Paul a half finished Harrison recording.
Something is happening & whatever it is, they're hiding it well.

Don’t you think if the album somehow contained a song that featured John Lennon and George Harrison that the album announcement would be loudly trumpeting that fact?johnny moondog 909 said:
Eventually yes. But so far the different versions of the album, tracklists, the so called 26 song version, the so called Abbey Road style ending medley piece. All that is hush hush except for about 7 titles mentioned in the press release.I think the secrecy fuels speculation rather than diminishing it.
I never would've believed Now & Then appearing on a McCartney solo album before.
But at this very late date, I could see it within the medley as one segment as John Paul & Ringo or the Beatles guesting on one track.
There's a plethora of Beatles & solo releases this year, & who knows maybe the same track ends up on a Lennon album. Much as Simon & Garfunkles "My Little Town" was on both their solo albums.
I'm not saying it's a lock. But I heard Egypt Station concept album, 26 track version, Ringo is guesting on it, ending 14 minute medley piece, & I thought hmmmm.
