Someone should let Mulder and Scully know that one of the Peacock boys is now living under the name "Olson".

Quad failed in the 1970s because multi-channel for the home is a cumbersome and impractical idea that no one particularly needed or desired. You would think the lesson would have been learned the first time around. You mean like 'home theater'?

The current bunfight on the thread about the imaginary (and almost entirely baseless) speculative box set for Pink Floyd's Animals in 5.1 is almost parodic. A bunch of dudes, primarily led by tough-guy Larry C. McGinnis III (another full name user, and possibly a record store owner?) happy to offer shitty suggestions, but getting pissy when someone questions his terrible idea:

An upset Larry:
A FURIOUS Larry:

Larry, honestly not letting this get to him:

I imagine people who still listen to Animals enough to have strong opinions about an imaginary box set certainly know how to relax and joke around. Pink Floyd has always been the life of any good party.
Enjoy your rage stroke shut-ins!

If tkl7 wants jokes that involves wit and makes sense he is at the wrong place.

I know that I really should have taken time out of my busy life to ponder that imaginary Animals box set, but I was too busy thinking up fantasy Monkees albums. Were you able to come up with any Davy Jones tunes that don't make you reach for the [>] button?

My fantasy Monkees album is all Davy Jones songs, so I can use the [>] button to get on to something else sooner. It's a win/win.
