They are going to be offering some of the in-house archived titles they have collected since the beginning. Should be going up within a day. Some great titles. I took a peak and I saw the Jimmy Reed, the John Lee Hooker, Lightnin’ Hopkins…titles I have not seen in years.
You make it sound like a gas, Daddy-o.
I wanted to see how "great" the titles were that Hoofer recommends, but only one Hooker LP went up (sold for $60). Not an awful record in and of itself, but it is kind of a slap-dash grab bag of singles. In a world where Hooker's entire discography can be downloaded in lossless .flac from the Pirate Bay or similar places (Hooker's dead! He'll never miss the royalties) in under an hour, it is hard to justify even that purchase.
So far, no Reed or Hopkins titles; someone at the office must have stuffed those in his pocket on the way out the door yeaterday. That History of the Grateful Dead, Vol. 1 for $125 though...that has my name on it, or it would if my name happened to be "Bear", which in all honesty, it is not.
