No offense, but this is another fallacy.
I disagree. Republicans argue that making the rich richer means they can spread it around. They can start more/expand their business/empires and hire more people. This has been proven false a million times. They instead buy mega-yachts and islands and Ferrari’s and still pay their people ****.
If you can’t look around at the state of the world and see this then you have achieved a level of socioeconomic ignorance that would further shield you from the reality of the world in 2018.
But as they say: “ignorance is bliss”, and the idiot senators sons of senators sons are so blinded by power and greed they basically turn a blind eye and keep their eyes closed when leaving the family compound.
As someone who struggles to be middle class I don’t know wether I want to inflict damage on you or be envious of your ignorance. I have to stand in it and wade through it daily so I simply can’t escspe it/turn a blind eye to it.
Look, I have no doubt it sounds good, but if I had that kind of money to spend on something so frivolous in the grand scheme, I would rather do something, anything to make even a tiny difference in the world around me. Last christmas my daughter and I scraped together $100 and made 3 turkeys, a huge pot of mashed potatoes, mixed veg and hot coffee. Then we drove to places where the homeless huddle in the cold and fed them each a meal and a cheap plastic contauner of coffee to keep. Did we enrich the world? No, but we gave 16 people a hot meal and a chance to pick though old clothes for more to wear. It’s the best we could do given our situation. Now image having $150k! We could do so much more! But that’s me...

It may seem overpriced, but remember that the technology will trickle down to affordable phono stages in the $60-$80K range.

Audio Note UK. Thieving fucks. I can’t tolerate the blind allegiance many of those assholes (SteVe especially) have for a company with such a dubious past.

If I had $150k to spend on a stereo you better damn believe I would have a paid off mortgage, a college fund for my child, make sure all people in my family were taken care of and try to do what I can for those less fortunate in my community and surround area before I indulged in that. But I like to think I am not a prick about things (unless it relates to Hoofy and Co.)

If I had 150k, and spent it on a stereo, I think my wife would divorce me.
And she'd be completely justified to do that.

Unless the box it comes in can double as a one bedroom apartment, there is no way a stereo or a phono stage is worth 150K. No one, and I mean no one, would buy such a system simply because of how it sounds/for practical reasons. It's a status symbol, a small-dick-compensator, and just a waste of money. If I had 90 billion dollars I still wouldn't entertain the thought of it.
That being said, I wonder how Klaatu sounds on that system...
