According to Gnrat’s previous posts he is so full of love and tolerance towards his fellow man. Perhaps he needs to spend more time away from Hoofyworld and his love doll and deal with people in real life more often.

Dealing with the public - part II
Gnrat:
I could write a book on what i've had to deal with! Not that I was ever a people person, but people really solidified my hate.
One of my main complaints is how people absolutely refuse to READ anything! They don't listen, either. They come up with some outta space idea of about how things should be, and when someone or something forces them back into reality, they get mighty angry. They think workers have absolutely nothing to do but rush up to them, bow down, and kiss their nasty feet. Old women throw their snot rags on the counter, kids throw their broken bananas on the floor, people bring in their animals which aren't service animals, they reek of cigarette smoke so bad that you can smell them from ten years away. They get confused because they're probably on five psych meds, cough all over the place when they are sick, try to give you wet money out of their pocket, would rather buy smokes and beer instead of food for the kid, leave ice cream and raw meat they decide they don't want on grocery shelves, don't know how to count money or use a credit card, argue with you when you refuse to take out of date coupons, claim the can't see the big buttons on the u-scan, but can surely see the tiny prices. They make up store rules that you won't follow, then try to scare you into doing what they want by saying that they know the manager, and the manager hasn't been at the company for three years. They try to berate you for working in that industry making low pay, not having any idea how much you really make, and then they pay with their SNAP card. They ask stupid questions, too. The store will clearly be open. They'll walk in and shop, then ask if the store is open. The line is eight people deep because you have three people call in, and one no-call/no show, and some stupid-ass old dude breaks the line and demands you help him immediately. We have a law that says no smoking within 20 feet of the door, but some jack-ass decides he needs to stand right in front of it and smoke, causing the smoke to blow right into the building. Then you have people who spend $600 in perishable food, then get up to the register after you've scanned the entire order - with coupons and alcohol you had to get out of the locked case, and realize that they don't have any money, and won't come back later. And, there are no baggers around because they are goofing off in the restroom texting their buddies, or outside smoking and talking to their friends. Then you have some guy trying to buy alcohol after you've already refused the sale because of his girlfriend who has no ID. You confiscate the booze and they leave. Then he comes back ten minutes later alone and tries to go to another line. You have to alert everyone so they refuse too. Then he wants documentation on the state laws before he will leave. I'd better stop because I have the night off, and this is starting to piss me off.
