Those are all allowed. Examples of trigger or flagged words/phrases are:
Buddy Holly Master Tapes Ken Scott What happened to the boys from MoFi? Sources used for STEVE's remasterbations (questioning and/or speculation) Critique of DCC or AF masterings (Caveat: if Kevin Gray did the AF title, it's okay) Vinyls (rather harmless but still fun to throw in because Daddy doesn't like the term) Audio Girl John Oteri Any innocuous questions to any of STEVE's claims (see the Dylan autograph on the Peter, Paul & Mary rekkid) a. questions as to proprietorship of the cesspool (Usually my House, my Rules. During Fundraiser it becomes YOUR Forum) b. questioning the need for the populace to pay for the Forum (the Host repeatedly gloating about his wealth) Beatles (more for fun. Express false sympathy for the elusive "almost had the catalog for DCC". It hurts Daddy he never had a chance)

You've reminded me of something - I was watching Seinfeld the other day on US TV, and they have that irritating format whereby the end credits for one episode come after the ad break and segue straight into the next episode. Something caught my eye: This was common knowledge, I guess? I see on IMDB that this John Oteri has been dead for a while now. Is this where Hoofy got his name from?

I think the person who wrote the pieces on Steve ( 'Imaginary Friends' etc) mentioned that the persona could have been named after this guy. Myself and others have attempted to find a living John Oteri who fits the description, and there doesn't seem to be one.

Synthfreek seems to think he's slumming when he poats at SHF, when in reality it's the only place that will have him.

I'd like to hear more about "Audio Girl" ... what's that about? Sounds interesting.

I'd like to hear more about "Audio Girl" ... what's that about? Sounds interesting. "Audio Girl" was another Steve Hoffman sock puppet account like "John Oteri" was. I think Steve was trying to pretend Audio Girl was his wife or something like that...always referring to him as "Steven" in "her" poats and whatnot, but, as always, Steve found it hard to stay in character.

How funny! Did Goofman ever admit he was "Audio Girl" and kill his character? If not, whatever happened to "her?" I don't think ever recall "John Oteri" either.

They'll be playing the Stanley Cup down in Hades before Steve ever admits to anything. No, Audio Girl and John Oteri just up and disappeared to that great Mastering Room in the sky, never to be seen or heard from again...

John Oteri was a legend. StevphEN created a sock puppet account for an old buddy that was broke that he let live in his garage from the kindness of his heart. Like most Stevphne sock puppets the two would have conversations with each other with the usual dick sucking.
Really deserving of a thread on its own, the thread at old SC was a goldmine of laughs.

Thanks for the link. That was great! Very funny!

Boy, that was sure a spectacular FAIL.

John Oteri's first thread is here. Audiogirl makes an appearance as does 'Angel' - who also seems to be female Steve fan. Was she ever considered to be a sockpuppet as well?
