Very little about the kid is true, it's a total farce, and any SHitey lurkers need to understand this.

SoundDoctor is angry that there's a couple of new Bowie documentaries in the works. Bummer, as most 12-year-olds would say. And worried about “grabbing cash” at 12 years old. Go back into his post history and you will see posts happening “on school nights” all night long, 2am - 4am. Had the Internet been around when I was 12 and if I was on it that late during a school night (hell, any night) my ass would be in deep trouble. Is the excuse that he is “home schooled” so he has time to do all this? (Nothing against home school, just asking if that has been brought up yet or not.) It depends where you are though. For me he registers at 4.19am on one of the poats, but I'm at least 5 hours ahead of him in here in the UK.

I thought maybe my setting was wrong but I went to check after reading your post and it’s set for Eastern. Regardless that would still be 11pm if he’s in eastern time, and 12 years old on a school night posting on Internet forums?

No fuckin' way "Sound Doctor" is twelve. No. Fucking. Way.
I'm starting to think all these "kids" who have recently become SHiTEs are some kind of honey trap or sting operation...one can hope.

SoundDoctor, like many 12-year-olds, prefers Jeff Beck's fusion era to what he's doing now.

I have a thirteen year old at home, they do not talk -nay, think- like that poat. If I didn't know any better, I'd reckon Sound Doctor is another failed Steve Hoffman sock puppet like Kaa The Snake was. And if that's what vicodin does to you -makes you think yer a goddamn twelve year old- I'll stick to Heineken and the occasional joint, thanks!

As I said in SHiteville, I've got 3 grown up kids, 3 teenage grandkids and I work with 12-17 year old kids in the justice system and NONE of them talk or have ever talked/written like the 'kids' on there. Not even the one that's done her GCSE's two years early.

"Would have much preferred an instrumental concert like did a few years prior (none of which I attended), but whatever. Thankfully, it was a Groupon deal."
What bullshit is this? Pre-teens don't say 'none of which I attended' unless they're at Eton.
I'm genuinely scared that someone is getting some weird kicks from pretending to be a young boy.

Trouble is, the guys/gals posing as the kids are doing a pretty pisspoor job of staying in character.

Yes, law enforcement efforts along these lines would have to be more believable than this. My theory: some men of a certain age cannot reconcile the fact that cultural touchstones they hold so dear are no longer relevant to younger generations. So, in an echo chamber/ feedback loop setting, they create fake excitement among "youth" to assure themselves of eternal shit-rock worship. Or something like that.

I am thinking it is another Hoofy sock puppet the more I think about it. Everyone comments on this young kid and STeVE gets jealous so he creates a profile based around the kid in that video. STeVE realizes there is a video of the “kid” (paid actor?) and he needs something to counter with, something no one has seen. Sounddoctor goes quiet for awhile and behold we have KaatheFake. KaatheFake gets called out so Sounddoctor returns.
We have 22 and 19 year old nieces and not when they were 12, 15, or 17 - hell, even now for that matter - do they talk or write the way “Sounddoctor” does.

I went to a very advanced and rigorous high school, filled out mainly with intelligent young men (a few knuckleheads like me were somehow admitted), and despite all of us being expected to write at a college level, none of us could have ever written in such a way. And in fact, we did have school forums, many of which were directly monitored by teachers and considered towards our class participation. There was also a rock music forum (ostensibly set up for the Rock Music Club) and even the most pompous of poats still read like teenage musings. (As it was a Catholic school, we also had a religious forum, which gained notoriety when a debate erupted regarding abortion. It's even funnier now to recall it as I realize it was all young men discussing the topic...)
Now, as Sound Doctor is clearly on some level a kid (the videos and special sessions with Fremer), my theory is that a parent is using the boy as a mascot, or a less likely possibility that the kid is choosing to espouse and poat the opinions and banter of father or whoever in some sad attempt to "fit in." And I can half relate to that. I was on forums since I was ~15 and when your main interest is beatardom, you're not gonna find many people your age, at least not in this century. But I never resorted to such behavior. I'd sometimes repeat opinions of my father's in order to have something to say, but labelled as such. And for most of my "youth" my forum of choice was the Macca Board, where the apparent average level of education was 6th grade.
And on that note, I think I'm gonna bow out of responding to this thread for now. If this really is a kid, or at least involves the kid as more than just a puppet, than I don't want to get involved.
Fuck, the Hoofman board is a weird place.

That seems to be a current craze, like when divorced middle-aged women find themselves a boy toy. Here, it's all about getting an imaginary teenage audiophile to look cooler.
Sound Doctor sounds like a more successful "Song Sleuth". You know, the Hoffman boy who was erudite enough to discover that a current R&B hit had ripped off an older song, by reading from a prompter.

Well, actually, one last comment. I had an idea for a horror movie:
I Was A Teenage Beatard
