As the years go by, The Beatles are sounding more and more like the Hermans Hermits.

And not one imbecile says "who is your friend?". No verification, nothing. Just rampant speculation.

A 4K upgrade blu-ray Anthology re-release would be amazing. That's a huge undertaking, and I'm wondering if that's in the works or if Apple even cares about marking the 25th Anniversary of Anthology this fall. They may not think a documentary is worthy of an Anniversary re-release (even if they are planning on the 4k upgrade in the near future). With or without a re-release of the doc, it would be nice to get the 4-song Free as a Bird maxi single released on vinyl for the first time (and streaming services) in November, maybe with a previously unreleased outtake as a bonus track to mark the Anthology anniversary? Give us the long early jam version of Something that was dropped from AR50! I would think that and the complete Christmas Records on one vinyl LP and CD (throw on a new remix of Christmas Time is Here Again) and that would be a nice little release this December, if nothing really big is planned.

Paul, George and Ringo should have taken John's vocal and guitar and George's tamboura from the '68 recording of Across the Universe, added new guitars and harmonies and a ringo drum track and created "Across the Universe (Anthology Version)" as the "new" song for A3.

How about a Record Day exclusive 12 inch 45rpm 2 record set of Too Many People b/w How Do You Sleep and Wah Wah b/w Back Off Boogaloo? I've often thought of RSD exclusives featuring combined solo Beatles...how about a great EP of not so ***super*** famous early solo songs from each? side 1: I'd Have You Anytime Cold Turkey 2: Oh Woman Oh Why Early 1970 I think DF Ultimate including a full CD of Dakota Demos is pretty likely. Unless Sean has something special and different in mind for the Dakota Demos. DF could always include the Bermuda demos and leave the Dakota home demos for a separate release. The Dakota Demos could be its own entry in the Ultimate Edition series, actually, just like GST, with the same box format and treatment, 2CDs and 1 Blu-ray... I'd love to see a multi disc "song book" style set that includes all of John's best Dakota demos in as high quality mixing as is possible...With a bonus disc of new studio performances of those same tracks, produced by Sean, with he and Julian handling the vocals and perhaps a few guests here and there. Ringo, Paul, Elton, if possible. And now that we have the ultimate Grow Old With Me, I think Sean should produce a dressed up mix of the acoustic guitar version of "Real Love", with strings added and Sean could add bass and some tasteful keys, that would make the perfect final track on the studio recordings disc...

Wah Wah and Backoff Boogaloo on the same record, I can only become so erect. Well, if you've just hung yourself, it can last for a couple of hours.
