Someone should permanently lock STeVE and Vidiot into a room together and have them each try to top the other with tales of their famous “friends”.
While the one who survives might be deemed the “victor”, the real winners would be everyone no longer bored to tears by those two deluded braggarts.

I stumbled upon this. I swear on my Mom's grave that I did NOT do it. I think I figured out which one is STeVe:

I have the Lancelot Link album. (It’s a cheesy collection of Saturday-morning bubblegum – complete with hilarious double-entendres that flew right over the heads of moms everywhere.)
Steven Hoffman (not our STeVE) wrote (or co-wrote) 10 of the album’s 12 songs, and was also the vocalist of the group.
Out of all the records that came out during the fad of having Saturday-morning TV shows with rock bands/record album tie-ins (circa 1969-1971), the Lancelot Link LP is one of the better ones.
So, that Discogs bio is not a fake. There really was a Steve Hoffman who actually deserved to have his name on a record label. (And, FWIW, Steven Hoffman’s name is not on the album sleeve, as that has fanciful bios of the simian members of the Evolution Revolution.)

If he was such a good friend, why do you need someone else to send you a pic? Did they not have personal cameras back in the 1960's and 1970's?

I’m sorry, STeVE. There is *no* hope for you. We had thought that in several thousand years, your people and mine might meet to reach an agreement. But, you're a self-deluded old liar. There is no hope now. Instead, we will send the Gorn to your house to say “hi”...

I have a feeling that, if most of these folks could even be asked if they knew STEvE hOFFman, 99% of the responses would be "who?" and the other 1% would be "the thief?"
Fuck you, StEVe.

This reminds me, I have a mutual friend who knows Jim Ladd quite well, posts on his Facebook all the time. I'd love to ask Mr. Ladd about ol' Stoof "picking his groupies for him" (while Ladd was married) in 1976 while engineering the sound for the Mighty Met.
If I get an answer, you all will be the first to know.
