Or for $10 a month you can hear it all and delete most of it after you realize they’re mostly shit

The only plus side I see to this deluxe edition bullshit is that people like gkella will be able to make a shelter out of their precious box sets once they can't afford housing on a fixed income.

Wait a minute. I am supposed to believe that there is really a demand in Mexico for a King Crimson memory lane revue? Apparently it was a good enough show to warrant a live release - something like the fifth or sixth live album they've put out since the reunion started in 2014. Fripp's certainly milking this before he hangs up his guitar for good. I'll hold my hands up and say I've been to see them a couple of times since they got back together (not really accurate since only two of the eight members of the current band were in the last lineup), and they manage to walk the fine line between sounding close to the records, but also quite exciting when they do some improv-noodle bits. The three drummer gimmick is a lot of fun to watch as well, but can't see how it would translate to an audio-only experience. The downside is that the singer is a charisma-free zone, and putting Bill Rieflin - the drummer for Ministry, for fuck's sake - on utterly inessential keyboards is a waste of time.
