I’m looking forward to AI George flying in some decent solos. I’m looking forward to flying a knitting needle into my ear before I bother with any more Beatles shit.

Speaking of auto tune, does anybody else think the bass in the stereo Love Me Do might have been tinkered with? Not that I’ve done a shootout or anything, and I don’t own a car so I haven’t listened under optimal conditions, but I don’t recall it being so precisely in tune before. Does the bass sound like a "one-note samba" like Vulvaneck said?

Because there hasn’t been a million books written about this.
WHY were the three Beatles so enamoured with Allen Klein?

Because there hasn’t been a million books written about this. WHY were the three Beatles so enamoured with Allen Klein?Listening to Lennon talk about his first meeting with Klein the morning after is incredible. You can hear him tell the story of how he got conned without even the slightest hint of realization (guess all the transexual meditation didn't do much after all). Klein is almost cartoonishly villainous.

Didn't Mick Jagger personally call one of them (Lennon, I think) to outright warn them about Klein?

Didn't Mick Jagger personally call one of them (Lennon, I think) to outright warn them about Klein? Only after he initially tried to pass Klein onto them.

We need at least 20 more threads about Meet The Beatles being released 60 years ago.

Meet The Beatles - 60th Anniversary
"It was 60 years ago today"...
Meet The Beatles is 60. any love from apple?
Did you buy Meet The Beatles when it first came out?
Do you consider Meet The Beatles canon?
1964 was 60 years ago

Kudos to garax for this reply to the mouldy “if the Beatles didn’t break up” question asked for the thousandth time.
